Yacht Braid Premium Polyester Rope 3/8 inch, White/Red

Too stretchy to be a premium line. Was going to use for a halyard line but changed my mind once I saw how much it stretches. Also the casing on the core is very, very loose. Repurposed it as a lazy jack replacement line. Would not recommend this product for any critical use on a sailboat such as a halyard or mainsail, genoa, or spinnaker sheets.

i replaced a lot of lines with braid from this company that i bought off amazon. it is a great value and the quality is fine. If you are racing in the Vondee Globe or Transpac where you are concerned about every millimeter of stretch and the chemical composition of polypropylene vs dyneema, then you shouldnt be buying your lines off amazon. For everybody else, this is fine.

If you’re looking for a strong rope that will hold a good knot, this is perfect. Anyone that knows anything about ropes will agree. Braided poly rope will stand up to the elements and test of time. I’ll be buying more soon.

this rope hold knots well, is easy to splice, looks good and is easy on the hands. Will be using if for an aircraft tie-down.
