Being all natural, it must be applied almost every day. Very effective. Very pleasant odor.

This fly spray works quite well - but the key is to brush it in. Depending on the horse and their tolerance of sprays, I either spray it on the brush (that goes for all faces) or I spray it on their bodies and brush it in. I try to cover all of them, and especially brush all the way down to their hooves on all sides of their legs. As a bonus, it has a great scent! And I only put fly spray on once a day - if it looks like rain, I don’t bother until after it has passed. My horses are pastured 24/7. I gave it 4 stars because you have to work a little harder to make it work, but once applied, it’s as good as any fly spray out there - and it’s all natural. Good for our horses and us!

I've stopped using poison fly spray. Its just not good for me, my horse or the environment. This product works but you have to spray more than you usually would. It smells strong, but that's how it works. The smell doesn't bother me, it smells like citronella. I also have the Defy The Fly bands on my retired horse. I use this solution to soak the bands once a month to "recharge" them. I am a big fan of this product.

5 stars because it does what I expected it to do. It does not work as well as those chemical sprays full of that carcinogenic (but highly effective) ingredient, but I knew that it wouldn't. It does, however, work better than other non-toxic sprays I've tried. I think a few bugs on my horse is the lesser evil compared to spraying a little bit of cancer all over the barn. It has a great smell too, and my horse seems to like it. He would try to move away from other sprays, but once he got a whiff of this one he stood much better. Sometimes, with these sprays, it can seem like it's not doing much, but it always makes a difference in keeping my horse's chest from getting chewed up. I board him, and if I miss a few days I can tell.

The fly spray smells great!!I feel good knowing this is safe to use on my mini donkey and around the house.

I love this product. it's concentrated and you mix 4 parts with water. I also add some skin so soft (Avon) to the mix and it really helps with florida bugs in the summer time.I really like the smell and the fact that it's concentrated. Normally fly spray that is not concentrated lasts very little time, you are left with a bottle to recycle/landfill that could be used again and it's more expensive.
