Best Fly Spray
I have owned and been riding horses my entire life. I've lived in Florida and Texas where it gets super hot and the flies are crazy!!! I have tried many different fly sprays with mixed results. When I found Tri-Tec I was amazed at how well it works. I won't use any other fly sprays!

The best
This fly spray is the best and only thing that works to keep the flies and gnats off my horse honestly. I have tried almost everything else I could get my hands on and for less money but if it doesnt work its a waste of money. This works. Truly works and here in Hawaii nothing lasts as long as its meant to so it says 14 days but it will last about a week or so during good days. Of course weather permitting when it gets humid muggy and rainy, I have to apply more often. This works for my horse and anyone who has tried it ends up getting it themselves. It is a bit more pricey than others on the market but like I said, those dont work for me and this does. Period. Worth every penny.

Very effective equine fly spray!
I've used this many years on my horses. It seems to last longer than other products I've tried...as in, 2-3 days, versus the daily spraying needed with other fly products. Highly recommend!

This and Endure are the only ones that work
This is a great value for the money, absolutely the most cost effective way to buy fly spray. Nothing works as well as this product and it’s Sister product, Endure, which is oil based, while this product, Tri Tec, is water-based. If you really want to get it to last as long as is advertised on the label you have to also use it the way it is recommended on the label and nobody does. The label says to “wet the hair to the skin”. That takes 3/4 or more of a quart spray bottle for the average thousand pound horse. But whether you use it that way and then you don’t need to add any again for many days, or you choose to apply a lighter mist on a daily basis, this product and it’s Sister product Endure are the most effective products on the market. There is actually research done by a college that you can look up online that compared the different fly sprays and try tech and endure came out on top. Tri Tec will runoff if the horse stands in the rain or if you hose the horse off. If you need a waterproof fly spray use Endure. The chemical formulation is the same in Tri-Tec as in Endure the difference is just whether it’s oil based or water-based.

The only fly spray that even kind of helps.
We have 10 horses and the flies are awful this year. We have tried every brand of fly spray but Tri Tec is the ONLY one who keeps the majority of the flies away. Lasts only a day or maybe two but still much better than all the others.

Still use it even though I no longer have horses
I've tried them all and this is the most effective, even with deer flies. I find it works for dogs and people too if you use it properly. When my daughter and I rode together we'd spray the horses and allow some of the mist to settle on us. It really helped so now that I'm just doing farm chores instead of horse care, I continue to buy this spray. I spray a cloud and walk through it. Most settles on my clothes of course, but what bit settles on my skin has never caused me any trouble where the people products like Off do. This has no awful smell or greasy feel like people products either. We have lots of ticks so spraying my shoes and socks really helps keep them away and mosquitoes will bite right through clothing so having that sprayed eliminates those bites too. None of my clothing has ever been damaged or spotted by the spray.I seem to be a magnet for bugs and frequently have to water flowers that requires my standing in dense foliage. Using this spray when I go out makes all the difference. My little dog is close to the ground and can get really bothered by bugs. Although we use the stuff from the vet to keep ticks and fleas from biting, I don't want them 'riding' him into the house either. A quick spritz now and then keeps both of us bug free.

Pricey But Absolutely Worth It
The media could not be loaded. One of my horses has a history of attracting ticks. It was not unusual to find 10 to 15 ticks stuck into his neck and chest on a given day, leaving him with huge scabs. He particularly likes snuffing through the leaves in the fall and spring to find the grass, thus the ticks. I have always liked Tri Tec above the others, Along with a new tick and fly supplement (All Species Fly and Tick) Tri Tec has kept him absolutely TICK FREE. Neither of my horses been bothered by flys or have bites so far and it is now June and very hot and pretty wet.. So, do I recommend? Absolutely. It has been a relief.
