Great Mower.
So far so good. I've used this mower about 4 times so far and it's worked very well. I got a 14 gauge extension to use it and I've had no problems. It maneuvers so much better than my old push mower and is lighter. It mulches grass well and does normal leaves also. I used the grass catcher today and that worked well with one exception. There's a plastic plug that has to be removed in order to allow leaves to exit into the catcher. I didn't realize that but once I removed it, it worked great. I tossed the plug to the side in order to make sure the mower was pushing grass in and on the very next pass....whack. Bad news is I need a new plug now but good news was the mower went right through it with no problems. I knock out my yard in about 10 minutes now instead of a half hour with the old push mower and it cuts better. It even mulches Mulberry leaves...but you might need a couple of passes...and picks them up well with the catcher. Now, I just need to get that new plug....

I can't believe I will be the first one to review this! A blank slate awaits me!
Under the heavy responsibility of steering truthseekers' opinions, I tremble. No, not really. It's just a plastic lawnmower. And I cannot even brag about the greasy smelly hands I got adjusting the carburetor because you just plug and it hums happily, waiting for overgrown grass. You give it a push and that's it.But don't underestimate the very important safety button to its side. I laughed quietly inside as I watched my 80 y.o. mother trying to make it work while ignoring my instructions to press it. She spent an eternity (at her age, it is!) almost bending the control wire and kicking the thing alive while slapping the "gottamn bu-tton", till she finally hit it just at the right time to make it work. Once. Then she lifted her chin and proudly marched behind the tamed humming beast over a trail of freshly cut grass. For a full 30 ft, till the end of the yard. There she tried to turn the mower around, and that's when it got her really mad. The extension cord was to her right, and she tried to turn to her left. As she did, the cord coiled around her and she almost lost balance, dancing side to side. I spat my lemonade and rolled off the patio chair, laughing so hard I couldn't contain myself anymore. Trying to steady herself she let go of the control wire, and the motor stopped. You should see her face! She was furious, and after slapping repeatedly the side button, she threw the mower to its side and walked right past me and into the house. "I ain't touching that thing again. She's ALL yours." So, the mower works fine. The problem is my mother.

Power
Little down on power next to the equivalent Black and Decker but is super light and that makes it a nice mower.

VERY maneuverable and quiet. My 5 year old can do it.
This mower is so light, quiet, and easy to use, my 5 year old can do it! I actually look forward to mowing the lawn now. The cord instead of the battery makes it much lighter than a similar battery powered electric model, but it means you do have to plan a little bit to run over it. That’s really easy enough, though: start close to your outlet and gradually mow away from it.The quiet here is also not to be underestimated: my family and I can actually talk to each other while I’m mowing, without raising our voices!2 minor notes:1) I see above where someone in Florida had the blades stop numerous times when going through tall grass. If this happens to you, you can avoid it by mow ling through the problem area quite fast (so the blades aren’t cutting for long) and then taking a second pass at it, or you can raise the mower (so light, adjustment is a BREEZE!), go over it, and lower the lower and go over it again.2) You WILL need an outdoor extension cord with this mower. If you don’t have one, be sure to buy one.No regrets: would buy again.

Easy to use lawnmower
This mower is so light that you can pick it up with one hand. You can guide it around around trees and such in the lawn with ease. You can easily push it up and down steep narrow parts of the lawn, rather than going back and forth, as you would with a heavier mower. It drops the cut and mulched grass below it, rather than to the side, so you don't have to mow in a circle to distribute the clippings evenly. Its only disadvantage is the nuscance of the long cord, but the cord is responsible for its advantages, so no fair complaining. Plus I suspect that the mower could go over the cord without cutting it, though I have not tested that yet.
