Tea Tree Shampoo for Oily Hair - Paraben and Sulfate Free Clarifying Shampoo for Build Up and Dry Scalp with Tea Tree Oil for Hair - Purifying Aromatherapy Tea Tree Oil Shampoo for Greasy Hair

I started using Maple Holistics Tea Tree Shampoo a few months ago and I'm so glad I did! I've tried so many other products and I'm always disappointed. Most dandruff shampoos like Nizoral, Head & Shoulders, and Tgel lead to dryness (if overused). I have color treated hair so I use the Tea Tree shampoo about twice a week and follow it with a deep conditioning mask. It does a really good job of making my hair feel soft, shiny, clean and fresh. I like the fact that it is free of sulfates, parabens, silicone's and is made especially for sensitive scalp and color-treated hair.The last point I wanted to mention is that Maple Holistics has an impressive incentive recycling program which offers customers free products in exchange for recycling used bottles of their products. I love a company that is as concerned with our environment as I am. I especially love that they're 100% cruelty free & a vegan friendly brand!

Also smells nice and leaves my hair shiny. Some days I use conditioner with it, other days not. Like it that it's sulphate free and has nice botanicals. I bought a bottle on my own and have used it all. It hasn't stopped my scalp condition from breaking out, but I didn't believe that it would, though I was hopeful. But it certainly hasn't made my condition worse like many shampoos do. I alternate it with a natural coal tar shampoo. I would advise someone to try this if you are looking for natural dandruff or other scalp condition relief. This shampoo is not life saving like I hoped but it definitely controls my oily hair more than other shampoos I tried. Coupling this with sea salt spray after my shower, though, has worked great. My only real complaint is the scent. It’s not off putting but it’s not something I’d typically go for. It’s very medicinal/minty. But all in all, I will likely buy again.

I had oily hair with dandruff, which is a hard combination to find shampoo for. I was constantly switching shampoos and nothing seemed to work. This has been a lifesaver. It restored my scalp and leaves my hair soft and pretty. My hair hasn't felt this nice in a long time. The scent is just a tad strong but smells nice. I can use this daily and it works great. The price isnt bad for how little I use at a time. I love that it is sulfate free.

Recently, I have been struggling with what felt and looked like small white dots on my scalp. They're somewhat itchy and rather irritating. I'd read about other people having this issue, and it seems like it's sebum that has hardened, for whatever reason. I've never experienced this before now, and I wasn't sure what to do about it. I have streaks of bright colors in my hair, so I knew that I couldn't try a product like Head and Shoulders, which would likely strip my hair of the color. I'd tried a hot coconut oil treatment, and that didn't help very much. I decided to go with a sulfate-free shampoo, as well as one that might help to treat the itchiness.I found this one on Amazon and decided to give it a try. Nervous about my color (as this shampoo is said to be "safe for most colors,") but eager to make a change with my scalp, I decided to try it.Before experiencing this problem, I was able to go about 3 days without washing my hair. I used to be an every day washer but, since adding bright colors to my hair, knew that the more I washed it, the faster the color would fade. I used dry shampoo to get me through. Since the itchiness started, I wanted to wash my hair every day. I felt like the white dots were so irritating that I needed to scratch/pick at them, and then I was worried that they were visible in my hair. Since starting with this shampoo, I can now go 1-2 days without feeling like it's time to wash my hair.So, thankfully, this shampoo did not make my color fade any faster. I don't mind the smell, and it seems to do a pretty good job of cleaning my hair. Unfortunately, though, I haven't noticed a huge change in my scalp itchiness. It's slightly better, although not as good as I had hoped. I'll keep using this shampoo over the other one that I have, which is full of sulfates, but I don't know that I'd purchase it again.

When I first got the bottle I thought it might have been a smaller amount than that which I would need, but even so it ended up lasting me from March - June. It actually was 100% clear which is good sign of not having a bunch of adding chemicals that wouldn't actually wash out. When its drier outside I sometimes get flakes falling from my scalp, I was relieved to have a way to take care of that occasional dandruff issue without having to use something with Selenium or Salicylic Acid. I don't have a severe dandruff problem so I cannot comment there. It was pretty light on the skin / scalp we actually used it to wash a dog once because of that and didn't notice any issues (neither did the dog as far as we know). Tea Tree oil can be a powerful scent but this didn't over do it which is good when you're a guy and don't exactly want any scented anything going on with your shampoo. If you're looking into a natural way to get away from name brand chemical loaded shampoos this is worth a shot. My hair is somewhat short, I could see it leaving longer hair a little frizzier than desired but you probably need to use conditioner anyways in that case. That's a realm I'm not too familiar with however

Love this product in the purple label. I can wait a longer time between shampoos since my hair does not get oily. I accidentally bought the tea tree shampoo with the green label last time but haven't used it since it has products in it the purple label does not - namely wheat. I am gluten intolerant (non celiac) but I don't know if that applies to surface applications,but I am sure it is an excellent product also since the purple label is so good.
