This book is just exquisite. I received it just yesterday, so I have not had a chance to read it, however, I did look at the pictures. The book showcases homes of professional, and some famous, people with each being interviewed and then several pages of beautiful photographs of their homes. I love that it is not a book about one type of decor. It’s already on my coffee table and I would highly encourage anyone who loves decorating to pick up this wonderful book. I actually would give it 10 🌟 if I could.

Wow! Where to even begin?! This book is profound. Alyssa’s words will jump right off the pages and live in your heart. She has such a kind and beautiful way of encouraging change and connectivity and creativity. She challenges us to reimagine the old Southern way of thinking and to move into a NEW SOUTHERN way of thinking, way of looking at others through ourselves first. Through eyes that have a lighter filter. This book is more than stunning interiors, which it ABSOLUTELY is. It is a movement. It is a vessel for change, for light, for connectiveness and grounding. The visuals and the perspective from behind her lens will capture you and the words beside them will captivate you. Alyssa is truly a visionary and a beauty that I am proud and feel lucky to be able to watch her flourish in the craft she was born to do. You will not regret this purchase for yourself or for any friend. Not to mention it’s a fabulous book for your coffee table. The cover is simplistic and beautiful and the hardback underneath is neutral and gorgeous as well if you are like me and take the covers off of everything. Would rate beyond 5 stars if I could!

Alyssa Rosenheck, where do I even start!I had the privilege to work on a project with Alyssa last year and it was truly unforgettable. This book feels like a beautifully wrapped composition of all things that contribute to making Alyssa the incredibly beautiful individual she is inside and out.Visually the book is stunning, I love how it feels in my hands and it looks gorgeous on my coffee table. The beautifully shot photos pulled me in and I caught myself yourself smiling while getting immersed into the stories, spaces and faces.The interviews with the New Southern creatives, visionaries, artists, designers and entrepreneurs are engaging and delightful. Being able to connect to them through the eyes of Alyssa allows me feel the love, connection, joy, creativity and enchantment with the New Southern movement. The New Southern focuses on the commonalities that we treasure as human beings such as love, creativity, generosity, hospitality and authenticity, and points out that we have more in common than we ever imagined.I can feel that Alyssa truly put her heart and soul into this book the same way she does with her photography. Absolutely LOVE this book. It did not disappoint. I’ve been following Alyssa for a long time on Instagram and love all she does. She’s so talented and such a positive bright light! All of her talents and warm spirit shine in this book. She has a tremendous taste level and eye. One of the best. Incredible style sense. I would highly recommend this book. It’s a great gift too for a design minded friend. It looks great on my coffee table along side some of the greats!

As an architect, designer and lover of all things elegant and beautifully planned I have so much admiration for this book! It's my new favorite coffee table book not only for its gorgeous photography and collection of stunning spaces but also for the insightful interviews with many creative souls.I've followed Alyssa for quite some time and find her to be so genuine, inspiring and unbelievably supportive. Get a copy of this book! You will want to curl up with and enjoy every single page.

This book is not only stunning, with or without it's jacket, it's also filled with beautiful stories. The New Southern is something genuine, needed and you'll feel inspired by each story. If it wasn't already wonderful enough for you to hit 'order'... alongside the eloquent words are the most gorgeous pictures. I cannot recommend this book enough, it will be the perfect addition to your coffee table, styled shelves or book collection! Also, a fabulous housewarming, graduation, holiday or birthday gift!

As one of the legions of Alyssa Rosenheck's IG followers, I could not wait to hold this book in my hands -- Now that it has arrived, I am awestruck! It is truly beyond what I expected. Aside from the gorgeous crisp interiors and dynamic people interviewed, Alyssa poured her soulful wisdom into the text. This is no coffee table book alone, but a tome to read and digest ... and then buy for everyone you know because it's a full-fledged reminder that we are ALL creative and creativity connects us to ourselves and our community.

Not only is it a beautiful coffee table book, but Alyssa has poured her heart and soul into the words written on the pages. She is such an amazing light and inspiration. Box was fine, but the book arrived damaged. The front cover is torn and the back is damaged and dented as well.
