The solaron blanket is so soft and warm. It's the only blanket needed to stay warm on a cold winter's night. I don't even use a flat sheet because the blanket is so soft and luxurious. It's not a weighted blanket so dont expect it to use it as such. I weighed the box on a professional scale and it was over 13 lbs. As described. However its breathable and not too heavy. Very comfortable. If you have a queen bed I would recommend buying the king blanket. My only complaint is that the blanket needs to be wider than it is. Its a tug of war every night lol

This blanket is an authentic Solaron blanket made in Vietnam. One ply only, 10lbs. Is soft, warm, correct size and excellent quality. I have a Koto Korean blanket (2 ply) for the past 9 years and still soft, the Koto one is lesser quality than the Solaron (see picture of tiger pattern blanket). The best way to keep you blanket looking good and avoiding shedding is by washing it carefully. You have to wash it using cold water only and in a big washing machine with a gentle cycle. Use very little detergent and no softener. I go to a laundromat and wash it once a year after I finish using it, then I store it. Once a year should be enough. You can tumble dry, but in a very low setting or on air. I forgot one time to put the low setting and lost it softness it some small areas. I see many people complaining that blankets (especially other brands) lose their softness or get full of lint after one wash. The main reason is, they are washing them incorrectly. My brother has the same blanket like mine (different design) and he washed at home and now is full of lint and not as soft, his is 9yrs old too.

This blanket is amazing! I was not expecting such a thick, heavy blanket! The colors on this are bright and it's such a pretty blanket. I thought it was kinda pricey but the quality of this is worth every penny! It is VERY warm and it makes it very hard to get out of bed in the morning. I don't need another one but I'm trying to find an excuse to buy more!

I love this blanket so far. It's very soft and comfortable. Keeps you nice and warm.Had an issue with shipping and the seller was very responsive in solving my issue. It looks just like the picture. Haven't washed it yet nor had it that long so I can't speak to longevity but so far so good.

This blanket is so soft and warm. I can't explain how soft it really is, like maybe a baby rabbit. Its heavy too! This think is like sleeping on,in under a cloud.
