I love it perfect fit for my MacBook Air!!!

I like this skinny sleeve bag for 11" and smaller laptops and tablets. This is easy to carry with the red elastic, which also keeps your laptop within the bag. The bag is split on the inside, so you can put other items or paper on the other side. This skinny sleeve will fit easily in my bag when I go on vacation. I like to travel light and I may just use this instead of bringing a purse. Either way, this will do the job I need it to do and not be cumbersome.

This is a very basic sleeve for MacBook Air, or similarly sized tablets, due to its thinness (hence the "skinny sleeve "). This is very basic in style, with a wide band of elastic to keep your computer inside. Since it is just a sleeve, I don't expect a whole lot from this. I see this as added protection for my computer while carrying it in a computer tote bag or backpack. I don't see this as being intended as a carrying bag per se.

I've got a few of these little sleeves now and I have to say that I really like their spartan, utilitarian build. I use this one for traveling with my Tab tablet and it provides a nice amount of padding and the red strap keeps the tablet inside. There are a couple of sizing points though - these sleeves were made to fit thinner devices. My tablet is no thicker than your standard smartphone but I'd have a hard time fitting two of them in this sleeve. So if you've got a first generation tablet or just a fat case, even though your tablet fits in the 11" size requirement, this sleeve may be too skinny. Also, if you're sizing up due to the thickness of your device, the red strap is the only thing that keeps your device inside instead of falling out. Just be aware of that if your device has enough room to switch positions - it could slip out diagonally.

The Acme Made Skinny Sleeve for 11” MacBook Air is exactly what it says on the tin: a stylish neoprene sleeve for the 11” Air. I have a leather BookBook for my Air that I really like, but sometimes I want a case with a slimmer profile, and the Acme sleeve is perfect for those times.I have the Grey/Poppy Orange sleeve, which I think is a nice combo. The Poppy Orange does look closer to red in my opinion.The inside of the sleeve has a soft material, to protect against scratches, and each side has a reinforced plastic insert, to provide a little extra protection. The outside is made from neoprene, which should provide some protection from water. I wouldn’t say it makes your laptop waterproof, because water could sneak in the open top, but there’s some protection.The elastic band isn’t actually necessary, since the sleeve is such a tight fit, but a) It looks spiffy and b) You could clip pens or slip something extra underneath it.I do have a concern for the stitching on the sides and bottom, which doesn’t seem stretchy. Not that I plan to put more than my Air in here, but I worry that I could strain the stitching eventually. The stitching also takes away from the waterproofing of the case, since water could conceivably sneak in-between the gaps.

This is a slightly padded, no frills compact sleeve that's pretty much for the MacBook - most other laptops are going to be too thick. It's made from 1/8" thick neoprene with stiffeners that also act as protection, so there's padding and some extra protection on both sides. The red stripe is an elastic band that helps keep the sleeve on your computer. The sleeve measures 11.5x8".

I have several of these, and they're great. Rigid but not too much. I love the idea of the elastic red band, stylish and functional. The outside is waterproof, inside is soft to protect your device. And it has a plastic reinforcement to keep it's shape, it will definitely withstand bumps and possibly even drops.I just think the price is a little steep, especially since these days you can get a neoprene laptop sleeve at the dollar store. Also, these are really made for Macbooks and tablets, only thin devices. My Acer netbook would not fit in one of these, it's too thick, the case wouldn't close correctly.

What you see is what you get - slightly slimmer than average padded case for your 11" laptop (ideal for the MacBook Air I have). I previously had a padded case that was thicker and zippered. The problem with that case was that it added significant bulk to my laptop. This is slimmer (somewhat less padding) and is assembled differently, so less bulky.The only thing to be aware of is that you are relying on that stretch band to keep your laptop inside the case. Carried normally, that isn't a problem. But I can imagine scenarios (stumbling down some stairs, for example) where it MIGHT be possible for your laptop to get shaken loose. Honestly, I think that is so unlikely that I don't really worry about it.
