Exact replacement for my Dell battery. Unable to rate Battery life, as I have not used computer as a mobile unit.

I was happy to see that this was the larger size battery than what came standard with my laptop. It creates a small foot/leg so that your keyboard is now permanently angled toward you. If you need a flush bottom to your laptop this will not allow that. I liked the increased angle to my keyboard that this gave me and the additional battery power was nice. Longevity and number of recharges is the key factor that I will not know until much later.

It fit my Dell L502x like a glove. I was skeptical at first, as I already buy genuine Dell replacements. However, Dell does not make these anymore. I haven't tested the battery longevity yet, but I have no reason to doubt it will be good. Pleasantly surprised.

The battery will not charge. I bought one a few months ago and it arrived partially charged but once it was allowed to drain it would not recharge. I returned it for another and this second one was even worse. I tried resetting the drivers and all the tricks found on the web to get it to charge but to no avail. I am starting to wonder if all the batteries are subject to this issue.

However, no matter how much I charge it, no matter the how many directions I follow on how to keep battery life...this battery only lasts several hours. The original battery I received with my laptop would last days, now I have to continually plug my laptop in. Don't waste your money, pay the extra money and get the one you need from the dealer.

Had no problems. Arrived half charged. With a full charge on the L502x, Windows 10 indicated it would last about 2:45:00.

A great battery for your laptop at a great price. I highly recommend this battery and please make sure it is for your laptop.
