These are exactly as advertised and are a really good quality, safe, and affordable option for our dog who is an aggressive chewer. She absolutely loves them and they do really well for her in terms of being relatively long-lasting, easily digestible and not messy. However - they REALLY stink! these have an aweful smell, but I think that makes them even more attractive for our pup. If you don't mind dealing withthe smell, these are great! The odor really is only noticeable if you are near the open bag of ears or near the dog while chewing away, it doesn't seem to linger or cause any real issues, but it is pretty rancid when you first experience it!

This is the first time i've purchased cow ears for my dog, so i wasn't sure how they'd go over with him-- even though, honestly, he loves all food. I was so glad when he was excited for them the very first time i gave him one, as well as ever since. I bought them primarily because i had read that they're good for dogs' teeth. So far i don't know if they've spruced up my pupper's teeth, but they definitely keep him occupied for maybe 20 to 30 minutes. This sounds very short, but it's a pretty long time for my dog to have to work away at something that he wants to eat. And he doesn't take breaks, either: he works at the ear until it's all gone.I was honestly surprised by how big the ears are; they're bigger than my hands. It's also very tough, & before saliva happens, very very low odor. Once my dog starts on it, & starts getting his saliva all over it, the ear softens so he can pull it apart & eat it, & eventually it does begin to smell fairly strongly. But all that's really to be expected, & the smell doesn't bother me much. I'm sure for my dog it makes the ear even more appetizing.I will definitely buy these again in the future. The bag is big, the ears are big, & they give my dog something to work & focus on that he clearly finds enjoyable. He gets to work his jaw & his brain, clean his teeth, & get a yummy treat! You can't really beat that.

I just bought my first package of BBS brand chews from free range grass fed cattle. I have previously purchased over 35 of another cow ear chews brand here on Amazon that shot up in price 5x as much overnight. It's interesting to compare the two. I will tell you why I choose the Best Bully Sticks brand. The other brand we were a fan of was more white in color and had no odor. However, I love that the BBS brand is not bleached and are healthier. They are from cows that freely roam to eat grass and are not cooped up in a barn their whole life fattened up on hormones and given antibiotics. The BBS chews are authentically colored yellow (no bleach) and yes they have a bit of an animal smell. The chews are large, but can be cut smaller for smaller mouths. We do prefer that our 15 lb shih-tzu chews it either in her kennel or outside, because of the slight odor - which is no big deal to us. Our dog is sooo happy with these chews. She prefers them over the others. The funniest thing to our family is how our dog won't drop the chew to go potty outside. She holds it in her mouth while she potties. Then prances back inside with it in her mouth the whole time. These have never, ever upset her tummy. We're very happy and highly recommend this brand. The price is the best in comparison to Merrick brand chews.

My dogs enjoyed these for the first time

To say my dogs LOVE them, would be an understatement, that can't WAIT to get their paws and mouth on them when they see I have them in my hands. I have a 10 month old Boxer and 8month old Jackihuahua. My Jackihuahua is easy and everything lasts with her, but if my boxer isnt running & playing, then he is always wanting to chew something and will usually chews through the thickest braided bully stick within 15min, yet these ears keep him busy for at least an hour. He never finishes one in a day, because after an hour he will get bored, but always returns to the ear later. These ears are MASSIVELY huge, (twice has big as other ears I've purchased) & as advertised they are HEALTHY alternative to a rawhide. I have purchased these several times now, and will continue to purchase, as I have feel like I've tried every chew treat out there & my boxer just goes through everything in minutes, except these. A 12pack for the 18bucks lasts my dogs 2weeks, so it is well worth it to me, considering I was buying 180bucks a week worth of different chews/treats thru different other website, and my dogs never seemed as satisfied as they are with these, the other chews always dissapeared within days. If your dog likes cow ears, you at least HAVE to give these a try.

The ears I received don't look like any cow ears I bought before, they look like water buffalo ears my dog refused to eat. They don't look like ears on product picture or in photos in some of the reviews either. They are semi-transparent and thin and hard. And apparently I cannot return them.

have ordered several bags and pretty much all have been thin cut....for our puppy our breeder recommended the thick cut...also, I think it is gross to receive ones with stamping of numbers and some with hair....yuk!!!
