AWESOME TOOL! MUST HAVE! THIS IS FAR BETTER AND EASIER TO CONTROL THAN HAMMER PULLERS.
I love this thing so far! As long as the stud grip keeps working correctly it should be really good. The tool is not metal but that hasnt been a problem so. This stud grip design is way better than the old dial that strips and constantly gets stuck. You gotta love the control it gives you to compared the violent and hand exhausting slide hammer style. A++++

Although it is well made and strong, dont be surprised to find out its plastic.
I was unimpressed at first but it does perform real well in a commercial environment. For the price, its not bad. And I have put it to the test. It paid for itself with the first use.

Useless as manufactured.......but there's a reason.
Like so many others here, on my first use this weak piece of plastic junk broke despite me being ultra conservative with pulling force. I doubt I was pulling at more than 5 pounds or so when it snapped in half. Steck, you should be ashamed selling this. Unfortunately for me, I purchased this over a year ago but only just used it, so no refund for me.EDIT: I contacted steck, they told me that for a period of time they used recycled material to manufacture the stud lever and it was a failure as we've seen, Since then they have gone back to their original process. They replaced my old defective stud lever. They cleared their shelves of the defective parts but obviously some are still in the system.

A must have if you use a stud gun!
This little tool is amazing!It is sooo easy to over pull the stud pins with a slide hammer.This tool eliminates over pulling the stud pins.A must have if you use a stud gun

Very Fragile tool
I only used this tool 2 times and the lever broke off rendering it useless. I don’t think it was user error . It did a great job while it worked . I WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING REPLACEMENT INSURANCE IF YOU BUY IT .

Fantastic Product
This tool is about as close as having your cake and eating it too for auto body metal working. A simple design that makes removing dents so easy it is almost funny to watch and feel the metal moving with this tool. As shown in the video this tool works easily with one hand leaving the other hand free for working with your body hammer on crowns or raised metal areas. Finally a tool that works about anywhere on the entire body, even curved areas with minimal one handed effort. Got to be the best tool I have purchased for some time, a real treasure for such a fair price.

Durability/longevity remains to be seen
You can not tell by the images, but, this device is actually made from a plastic/synthetic, not metal. So, my only concern will be how long the jaw teeth will adequately grasp the weld studs. Time will tell
