I ordered a new book. Mine came looking like it was used. It has a crease from someone folding it and a black smudge on the back. Very disappointed

This is a great book with knowledge on how a blended family works.

This is a necessary read for anyone in s stepfamily relationship OR contemplating entering into a stepfamily relationship. Some reviews say that the material is limited to only Christians. I would simply say that, if a book provides insight into the unique and complex dynamics associated with stepfamily relationships, I wouldn't care so much whether it's from a Christian or some other perspective. I just need help...regardless of the perspective! Read it and then make your own decision. It has the potential to be life-changing, in my opinion. I have been married for 30 years in a stepfamily relationship and I believe this is a treasure trove of insight that I wish I had available back then. We could've avoided some of the land mines and pitfalls. Thankfully, we have survived and are implementing these principles as we move forward!

This book has a lot of great advice for blended families. I read it as part of a book study at my church and everyone found it helpful!

I like that it follows the book and gives a chance to really get more in depth on the topics.
