War Ready: 31 Day Devotional For Church Safety & Security Teams Strengthening the Body, Mind, & Spirit

McGarvey and Buckner are providing real care for Sheepdogs.
Throughout our world, the Christian faith is under active assault. Faithful men, women, and children are being persecuted for their faith. Many are dying for what they believe. Today, in many sectors of our American society, the cross is viewed as a symbol of intolerance. Those who would do harm to Christians are encouraged to do so, by the deepening intolerance toward Christianity. We are in a war for the very survival of the Christian church and our country as a whole. There are brave servants (Sheepdogs) that choose to step forward and hold the line between God's elect and the destroyers of life. They are the men and women of the church security forces. James McGarvey and Paul Buckner have written a tool that affectively focuses on the needs of those warriors on church security teams. The 31-day devotional provides insight, encouragement, and thoughtful challenge to help Sheepdogs grow. The text is smart and easy to follow and a novel way to prepare the Church Warrior for whatever threat Satan might bring. I strongly encourage Pastors, elders, and members of the security team to acquire and use their own copy of WAR READY.Our prayers are with the families of those citizens who were harmed as they sat in their place of worship, as the destroyer did what he did.Dr. Brian Patterson

Very good for your Church Team (Safety Ministry Training)
This is a well done devotional made specifically for those folks in a church safety/security team ministry. I’m planning on giving one to our other team members. Being prepared and trained on situational awareness is so important when it comes to providing formal and informal security services for your place of worship. This manual will be a fitting addition to your training book collection. I recommend this for anyone that is on a safety team. It makes a great team project and gift for your safety team members. The “Church Safety Guys” (The Authors) are a great benefit to the church safety and security community. Review by J. Browning

Preparing the body and mind to be war ready, a whole new level of preparedness
The first 31 day devotional made specifically for those of us in a church safety or security team ministry. For each person who has rallied to the call to serve in this capacity, we know that we need to always be training but caring for our mind and soul is also as important as our physical self. Readiness is important for the immediate responders, protecting the sheep from the would be wolves. Combine this with a daily physical challenge, you can feed all three needs and be a little more war ready. Highly recommend this for anyone on a team and it is a great idea for Safety or Security team leaders to buy for the members of their team. Stay safe, be blessed, be war ready. #churchsafety

This devotional could not be more timely.
Given the chaos going on around us and threats outside our doors War Ready could not be more timely. It has helped provoke me to dig deeper into what it means to be a protector.
