I like grip tape with cork. It has a pleasant cushion and a soft, secure grip. I have used it in the past and have found it durable, too. This product exceeds my expectations because they included a couple bonus items. 1) 2 pieces to cover the area the hood doesn't cover, where the brake meets the bar; 2) Bar end caps; and 3) Finishing tape. The finishing tape is my least favorite part of this package, as it is too wide, with a plastic texture and look. The cork tape comes in 2 sections, one for each side of your bar. I recommend using the adhesive band as your guide, wrapping so 90% of the adhesive band hits the bar and 10% overlaps the previous wrap. That should yield little left-over grip material, which is your goal because that means you overlapped the cork tape just right. It is also important that you not stretch cork-based tape because it has no tensile strength. I think that's why they included the 2 extra pieces to shield the under-hood area. They do not want you to attempt fancy tape-stretching maneuvers near the brakes.

I bought this handlebar tape to replace my old one that was worn out. I received my product and I installed it everything went smoothly but a couple of days later the tape came loose. I re-wrapped it and again it happened. I contacted Marque Cycling and told them issue and they went ahead and sent me a new set of bar tape. Great customer service! I went ahead and installed the new one and have had zero issues. I will definitely be buying from them again. I like that the company stood behind their product and gave me a rapid solution and for me that’s a big plus in my books! Keep up the good work! 🚴‍♀️

I’ve been looking for a replacement to my favorite bar tape, the specialized Roubaix s-wrap now that’s it’s discontinued. With the pandemic and not having crashed, my current bar tape lasted over 30,000 miles so I’m definitely due. Considering this is less than half the price of the similar specialized product, I was a little bit hesitant as I wasn’t sure what to expect.I was extremely surprised and happy at the quality. It’s a little bit thinner than the specialized but also a little bit denser As I could squeeze down a lot less with micrometers with this tape. It has the perfect amount of stretch and adhesion that left an absolutely seamless and perfect tape job. Super easy install! The nice black strips to tape down the ends were a great added bonus. I used a little electrical tape before adding these and it looks absolutely amazing. I would 100% by this tape every single day!

I picked up a vintage bike that had ripped up tape. Ordered up the tape, it came looked awesome. More foamy then expected but the foam ends up being somewhat of a cushion.The adhesive is a little weird. Please make sure to peal the white tape off but have the clear stick to the tape. First few triea everything came off. Wrapped the first one, no issues. Got to the second and right at the brake lever, it ripped in two. Clean off.Little sad. To say the least. Emailed them and got a quick response in under 4 hours. It was off hours too. Instantly said they will send a replacement. No hassle or issue.I'll buy again.

No need to buy a more expensive wrap unless you're a true purist. This went on nicely with lots of stretch-ability and has good cushioning. There was plenty of length. I prefer tape with an adhesive strip as someone without an expert's talent. There are short pieces included for the brifters, end plugs and fixing tape. The only thing I'd question was the fixing tape. A little short so I use electrical tape. Looks and works very well at a good price.

Took a chance and ordered the Marque Handlebar MTB-03 tape over one of the high dollar brands. I've been wrapping bars for years and was very pleased. Initial impression was good in that it gives you two long pieces of finishing tape. A little thing but... Sufficent quantity of finishing tape is oft times sadly lacking in the big name products.Checked the strength right out of the box and found it took a lot of pull to get the tape to snap. The stretch needed to wrap was also a high point. Was able to work my way around some tight curves pulling hard enough to prevent any buldges in the finished product.The adhesive was just aggressive enough to forgive any tension variations without being overly sticky.Not a gel tape so you're going to want to wear gloves but most riders do anyway.All in all a welcome, lower cost alternative to the higher cost tapes out there. I would gladly recommend this to friends.

I love this bar tape but after I wrapped the first bar I started to peel off the plastic backing on the adhesive back side and the bar tape split in half about 18 inches. I contacted Marque and they are sending me another set of the bar tape no problem. Great customer service! I love this bar tape, it's easy to wrap, looks good on my bike and has a nice padded feel to it. I highly recommend this company for quality products and fantastic customer service.

This is one of my favorite brands of bar tape I've tried. I put it on my TT aero bars and base bars and they provided a strong and comfortable grip, even in the rain or heat of the summer when I'm sweating all over them. I've tried other bar tape that I ended up slipping off of when it got wet or I got too sweaty. The bar plugs also fit very snug which I appreciate because I've had a lot of issues previously with my bar plugs falling out during rides because they were just a little too small.
