Simple plastic materials make this nothing particularly special, but it does its job fine and works exactly as intended. Easy to install.

Only needed the flaps, but that is plastic for you.

I didn’t install it myself, so couldn’t evaluate that aspect. The first one came with only 3 of the 4 slats; tried to do an exchange online, but my credit card had gotten hacked in the meantime, and the Amazon website needed a credit card number (to potentially charge me for the item if I didn’t actually send the product back) - the website couldn’t grasp the fact that I had entered a new card number (even though I followed all of the instructions) - kicked me back to “step 1” - tried multiple times. So I finally just scheduled a return and refund, and reordered the product a few days later. 2nd time, it arrived with all pieces, in new condition. So giving 4 stars for poor QC on the 1st one, and more difficulty than necessary to exchange.

The fins on my old vent had become warped and wouldn't turn. I just needed replacement fins, but after trying to email the company as I read about in other places, I gave up and just got the whole replacement unit. Removed the fins and used them on my old one, tossed the rest.

Perfect replacement for my vinyl siding/mobile home. This 67 year old lady just popped it in! Nice
