not bad
I bought these about a year ago along with the deep impact sockets for automotive use. the impact sockets are great and I love them, I choose them over my snap on just because there both metric and standard so there's no guessing. and you can see where they bite on the bolt head halfway towards the center rather then the corners and strip out. even work great on bolts that have been rounded off from traditional style sockets.yet sadly the wrenches arnt that great on the open end side some sizes will slip. but I believe that might be my fault for abusing them using another wrench of the end for more leverage. the box end however works great and have never broken one yet. they are made of chrome vanadium steel which I consider cheap. I recently upgraded my wrenches to the snap on flank drive pro 10 piece set and love them. you can tell by holding them it's much better quality and in my opinion the best. but I still keep around the metrinch wrenches in my box for standard inch fasteners.I'm still really happy with the impact sockets that I will be buying the shallow and deep 3/8s socket set soon enough.

Best kept secret in the world of tools...
I've had Metrinch tools for a number of years and would not be without them. These combination wrenches (or spanners for us Brits) work great.I have two full sets of these - one almost new and the other almost 10 years old.You can't tell them apart. That's good quality. The benefits:Far fewer tools to lug around (about 2/5 of what I used to haul about)Works on Metric and Imperial size fastenersSockets don't get stuck on fastenersSockets don't round the corners if slightly misaligned (on an angle in a tight space)Sockets undo rounded fastenersThey are immensely strongThey are superb quality - as good as Teng or Snap-OnThe disadvantages:Very few!A little bit 'looser' on a fastener than a standard socket until you take up the torque(Can mean it is slightly more difficult to ratchet in small increments)So popular in the workshop - that someone else always 'borrows' them!We use them on big brutal stuff like Steyr, Case, NH and and John Deere Agricultural kit and right down to delicate old classic cars and even the farm bicycle (the framed variety). If an amateur - then these will reduce how many tools you need and do the job better than you'll needIf a professional - after using them a few years, you'll let someone take away your entire Snap-On toolkit before they take these...Oh, and I have no affiliation to Metrinch, any of their resellers.I just really rate these tools and feel that since so much cr*p is written in reviews that someone should put the story straight and share valid and hard earned experience.Happy spannering.
