TENADay Plus Incontinence Pad

My son is 21 and incontinent. He is nonverbal but doesn't like a wet or soiled diaper. The trouble with this pad is that he doesn't seem to even notice he's wet! So that's good that the pad draws liquid inside because it helps to keep his skin dry.The color-change indicator stripes help me and his caregivers easily check to see if he's wet. With other pads I can do a sniff test and smell urine, but these pads do a great job at reducing the odor so I don't smell anything. That means I have to check him more often, but I'd much rather have to check for wetness instead of noticing the fragrance.These are daytime use pads and not meant for overnight use. That said, they do hold two full voids without leaking IF YOU POSITION THE PAD CORRECTLY for your body's anatomy (male vs female) and use a snug-fitting underwear or pullups.We've been using the Abena Abri-San #9 and I wanted to dry something a little less bulky for day time use and to save on costs if I could. So I do recommend this pad - it's really big compared to little Poise pads but relatively thin and comfortable to wear and an excellent value compared to other facility-style incontinence pads.No adhesive on the back, which makes it easier to put the pad in place and then put underwear or pullup over the pad without the adhesive catching on itself or on the underwear.

Great Protection

I have been using Tena pads for over 10 years. I was looking for more absorbent pad and ordered these pads which were the absorbent i was looking for but was not described as far as I could determine in the size I needed. When the 80 pads arrived they are very huge seems to be for a bedridden person I contacted the vendor and was advised that I could return the pads at my expense. They are very heavy and probably expensive to return. Was told my bank account would be credited in about 2 weeks once they receive the return package. Very disappointed. For a decade customer of Tena pads I feel a huge let down.

Product arrived early and the bags were enclosed in a large box which was plenty of protection for the product and easy enough to open without cutting into the pads themselves.

I have tried many Tena's incontinence and these are the best in keeping you dry. Nigh time then I really glad that I have this protection.

I have mild cerebral palsy (GMFCS I) but sometimes do not get to undress in time and cannot hold it in very long. I purchased these because I was tired of having to completely undress to put on a clean pull up. I am very happy with them because they are extremely absorbent and as easy to change as a menstrual pad. They are bulkier than the depend pull up I was using but a nice pair of loser jeans or chinos hide them. They even protect me when I have poop accidents.That being said, most negative reviews are from people who don't know what they're buying. Yes, they are very large, but that makes them more absorbent and suitable for bowel incontinence. Yes, they don't have a sticky backing, but they are adequately held in place by high waisted, form fitted underwear. Yes, they would work for immobile people, but I would argue they are better for an independent person who is out and about and wants the absorbency of a diaper/pull-up with the ease of simply changing a pad.

The supplier (Medical Warehouse Inc) shipped the product twice due to the fact that I changed what credit card to charge. The purchase/cancel/purchase somehow generated a duplicate shipment. I reached out to the supplier to inform them of the error, and they generously allowed me to keep the duplicate purchase. That to me is the sign of good supplier providing excellent customer service.PS: The product itself was recommended by the retirement home my father is staying at and works great.Thank you!
