Both Cats Love It (Updated 11 JUN 2022)
Having two different cats has caused a heavy search for grain free, that both would enjoy (One White Persian and one Shorthair Domestic ). Well, they love it (a little bit too much, will have to keep an eye on how much they are eating). ________________________________(UPDATE): Unfortunately I had to get rid of this food. The love it a bit to much, but have had constant vomiting and some infrequent Bowell movements. Due to the travel I have to do, this cat food will not work. For those who have time to monitor the cats and don't have to be away from home, I say give it a try. Just can't use it here.

Cats don't love it, but they don't mind it when it's mixed with soft food
I have two cats with missing teeth. These kibbles are super small, and I sprinkle this into their squishy food. The cats don't love the flavor, but they will eat it, especially if it's a bit soggy.Quality ingredients, tiny kibble size, and low calories make this a great choice for my older cats.

Our boys love it.
We wanted to find a great, nutritious treat for the boys. They love it. I only wish that it came in a smaller bag.

Good choice for your feline
I love my cat as my child. I have only fed Annamaet because I believe it is a healthy food.

My Cat Loves It!
I ordered after I received sample from a Pet Store. The owner said that cats love it! I did not think my cat liked fish but she loves this food!

3 out of 3 Cats did not like it...
While I wanted our cats to like this, because of the quality of ingredients, none of our 3 liked it.

Just the facts ma'am; On "ash" content
The ingredients, listed by weight, are shown in one of the Amazon photos at the upper left of the main product page. The 1st 3 ingredients are cod, turkey meal, and whitefish meal. Further down the list, at 7th, 8th and 10th places, are chicken fat, dried eggs, and menhaden (a fish) oil. Those are the animal ingredients. The 4th, 5th, 6th and 9th ingredients are plant-based: chickpeas, tapioca, green peas, and pea protein isolate. Even further down, there are dried cranberries, dried blueberries, and turmeric in 11th-13th places. And way, way down in last place, a smidge of yucca extract. Those aren't things cats eat in nature, except in the guts of unfortunate herbivores they catch, but tests show cats get nutrition from them.11th place is "natural flavor," whatever that might be.The Amazon description says there are prebiotics and probiotics in this. Prebiotics are basically stuff for good gut bacteria to eat. Usually that's some kind of fiber. Probiotics would be good bacteria themselves, here called dehydrated Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product. (Strictly speaking, the fermentation product need not include any bacteria, but since the label says there are some ....)There are some mixed tocopherols as preservatives in the chicken fat and menhaden oil. Tocopherols are versions and/or relatives of vitamin E. They can be natural in origin or synthetic.Everything else is minerals, vitamins and similar nutrients. The cats I got this for will eat anything, so that they like it doesn't say much about whether your cat will. The numbers; on "ash"Pet food labels typically give a "guaranteed analysis" of how much protein and other food components are present. One of the components often included that often makes label readers scratch their heads is "ash."There's no ash in pet food. "Ash" content is an archaic way of talking about the amount of minerals and undigestible parts that would be left if the food was burned to ash. There's nothing harmful about minerals (quite the opposite), and stuff like bone bits are part of a cat's natural diet that won't hurt it either. It was once believed cat food with a high "ash" measure could cause urinary trouble, but that was disproved. If the "ash" content is very high, it might indicate useless filler, though. All pet foods that have minerals have "ash" content, though some no longer put it on the label. So, the guaranteed analysis (shown in one of the Amazon photos):Crude protein: 37% minimum. That's maybe 40% minimum dry (there's up to 10% water in this), which is good, a lot more than the minimum recommended by the cat food recommenders (AAFCO).Crude Fat: 16% min. That's a generous amount, well over the recommended 9% minimum for fat content, which is good for cats as long as they're not overweight.Crude Fiber: 3% maximum. Fiber isn't normally part of a cat's diet in the wild except for what it gets from the guts of herbivores it eats, but tests show it can have some benefits. 3% is on the low side compared to others I've seen, which is fine.Moisture: 10% max. Cats normally get all their water from their food in nature, and it's a necessary nutrient of course, but here it's mainly to make the food edible.Ash: 7.5% max. A normal amount of "ash" content (explained above).Omega 6 fatty acid: 1.1% min. This and the Omega 3 are way more than minimum generally recommended (not a dangerous thing).Omega 6 fatty acid: 2.7% min.Taurine: ? It's not listed in the analysis, but it's relatively high in the ingredients list, so I'm sure there's plenty of this essential nutrient. The label says the food meets all the AAFCO recommendations for cat food.458 calories per cup. It's moderately high in calories, a good source of energy.Made in the US.Best by August 26, 2021.
