Marimekko Seireeni Cotton Blue Duvet Cover Set, Queen

The fabric is crisp and cooling. I spent a fortune on a linen duvet and sheets because I read that they were cooling but they really were not. I find percale sheets and duvets to do a much better job. This set does the trick, looks good and washes well. My partner is not into florals so this was a good compromise.

It looks amazing and feels great too. However, there is 1 major flaw that annoys me to no end. The button closures at the bottom are a bit too small, and the holes are a bit too big. This means in they come undone every night, so I have to rebutton them every day. I love the look of it, so I do it. It's super annoying though. I'm tempted to sew on new bigger buttons just to stop dealing with this.

This is a well-made duvet with a button close and inside ties at each corner to hold a comforter with tie loops in place. I added loops to our comforter to enable use of this feature, which is a big plus for keeping the comforter from shifting. Please be aware that the photo is misleading -- this is not bedspread sized and does not reach the floor as shown. It is long enough to hide the sizes of a fat mattress and a slim mattress base, which is what I expected, despite the photo.

This duvet set is truly gorgeous. I love the modern style and comfy feel.
