Passed my exam after not being in school for 3 years. Really great review and super helpful!

Was hesitant to read once it was received, but after reviewing the online CPH webinar series the book served as an added, helpful resource. Came highly recommended from our professors. Wish I had it to help explain some of my core courses when I took them.

I bought this book to prep for the CPH exam and it was extremely helpful for narrowing down the information needed for the exam. This was the only book I used and I"m sure that I wouldn't have passed the CPH test on the first try without it. The level of the material in the book was exactly right for the exam so I didn't feel like I was studying material too in-depth or just getting a brief overview. The only advice I could offer for future test-takers is that this book doesn't include a full-length exam or multiple-choice questions at the end of every chapter (some have open-ended questions or scenarios). So, in addition to this book, I would recommend taking the online CPH practice tests through APHA. It would be the bomb if there were a discount code for the test included with the next edition of this book, but for the time being, buy the book, take the practice tests and get certified!

the biostat chapter was the most useful, overall a great read. it's obvious that the person who wrote the biostat chapter not only has a solid understanding of the subject but also teaches really well to both bio and stats students. sold out at the apha 2018 convention!!
