This is a candy top coat so a silver or chrome basecoat is needed. It can also be applied directly over real chrome or polished aluminum. Real chrome or chrome powder basecoat will be the most reflective finish but you can also use a metallic silver so it will really pop in the sun. With candy top coats the color can also vary based on thickness.

Wouldn't buy again
Color came out as expected. It is a candy powder which means it is transparent and you need to use this over another color or chrome to get the look you want. I used this over a chrome powder coated part. What i didn't like was the condition of the powder. It was clumpy and took forever to crush it enough to try to use it. Coated so so for what i managed to crush up. I have never had this issue when ordering powders in the past from other suppliers and for that reason i would not order this product again. May have been a fluke but i wouldn't take the chance considering the price. I'll stick with eastwood autobody.

After you powder your part it looks good..
This is not what I expected at all. After you powder your part it looks good... Until you take it out the oven! This powder is extremely transparent and you can see straight through it to the metal. It may be fine with a flawless part but if you have any imperfection on the metal you will see it. It only puts a light green haze over the metal. I wouldn't buy this product again
