This product is great, especially if you are not too tall
This product is great, especially if you are not too tall. I am 5'6" and it worked for me, but not for my husband who is 6'2". It worked especially well on two 3 hour flights and then a 10 hour flight. On our return flights, it seemed that all the pressure was across a 1" strip under my legs. I think that it had just met its' limit. I am not a heavy person and this did work very well, but I think it would work even better with a slight fabrication modification: attach some sort of a rigid support, the same width of the footrest (prox 6"?), to each end and then attach the straps to that. That would distribute the weight across the entire width of the footrest, rather than just through the middle. If that modification were made, I think at this point, I would not be able to find a better product on the market. Even as it is, I would buy another for my next trip. It was very cushiony and comfortable.

What a difference!!
I used the footrest on my recent trip from Seattle to Lima, Peru. It made an amazing difference for me. Not only was I able to sleep with my feet floating in a hammock for a full 5 hours on a 6 hour leg of my trip, my feet and ankles had no swelling at all. Swelling feet has always been a problem for me when I fly, and I did not have any trouble with this when I used the Airplane Footrest. Not only was it comfortable, it did not add any weight to my carryon.I wish I had thought to take a picture of this in use, it's so cool! I would recommend this for any long flight.

Game Changer for Economy Class!
Absolutely awesome product. Immediately upon takeoff, I felt satisfying comfort and support on my legs, lower back and feet. The footrest is the equivalent of placing your feet in a hammock-like structure which allows for feet to swing freely and bounce when pressure is applied which creates ultimate comfort. I felt as if I had placed my feet on a soft stack of pillows.A major improvement to economy class seating and I will be taking my footrest with me on all flights. Thank you so much for improving the quality and comfort of flying in economy class!

Great comfort aid
These and a little seat cushion made flying coach for 16 hours bearable. Can shift between using this like a sling (as pictured) or cradle the bottom of your feet to get your knees bent, taking pressure of your back and mimic more of sleeping fetal position. Hope I never have to do that long a flight in coach again but if I do, this is going back into my carry-on.

Made my trip!
My family and I just did a trip to Norway/Sweden from the US, and I'm serious when I say this made my trip on the plane! You wouldn't believe how having your feet elevated, even a few inches off the floor helps so much! I was able to sleep comfortably and my legs didn't bother as much as they normally would on a 9+ hour flight. It was a literal game changer!

Amazing product
On a 10 hour flight this was a must have! I had a tailbone injury and new I would need something to help with repositioning during the flight. This was fabulous and for the first time in 5 years I was able to fly without enduring a lot of pain. It's sturdy and easy to pack and use.

Useful in economy seats that had no footrest
This item was as described. It also included an eye mask. My 9 year old daughter used both items on our late night transatlantic flight. It wasn't the most comfortable fo her, given her size, but it helped provide a place to rest her feet while she slept.

Good if you're short.
The first flight I used this on was so cramped, I wasn't sure I would even be able to use this. On my flight home, I had a bit more space and found it much more enjoyable. That being said, I'm 5'1" and if I were much taller, I'm not sure I would have been able to use this. Perhaps a couple inches taller and this will still be of benefit to you, otherwise, I'm really not sure it's worth it.

Excellent
Excellent. At first I didn't think this would do much, but on a long haul flight 18 hours plus it made a difference. I was able to keep my feet and legs in differing positions rather than on the ground.

Amazing but a few flaws
It could use a side spine on the length ends so the middle doesn’t push up into the center of your foot. But still great!
