CAP Barbell Gold's Gym Standard 3-Piece 5' Weightlifting Bar

The 3-pieces are NOT the barbell & two weight clips, it's a three piece barbell that you have to put together. This isn't a barbell for a bodybuilder. Barbells should be 1 solid piece. Description not accurate enough to understand what the three pieces actually are. You look at the picture and see a barbell with two things that look like weight clips (two items a lot of barbells come with). I personally never heard of a barbell made with more than 1 solid bar, that should weigh at least 28 lbs .MINIMUM. Most weigh 44Lbs. THIS WEIGHS 3 LBS!

I knew the bar was in three pieces which was what I was looking for. I needed a bar that I could disassemble and stow which could handle a moderate amount of weight. It came with two roll pins which kinda limits it's ability to be quickly taken apart. The holes were just slightly off but, nothing my drill and 1/4" drill bit couldn't handle. I did purchase some cotterless hitch pins that should to the trick. The coating seems to be durable and bars have room for 10.5" on each end for standard 1" diameter hole weights. The knurling on the grip area is adequate. It should do me just fine.

It’s in 3 parts.. I didn’t mind it at all until, I noticed that they didn’t give you the little screws to connect each side!! So whenever I use the bar I’m scared either the left or the right side might slip out

I was surprised it was in 3 pieces. However, once I assembled the bar it seems to work OK. I would not buy it if plan on lifting heavy weight.It will work for light weight exercises with high reps.

I do not like the 3 piece design. I did not pay enough attention to the description of this product.

It meet all my requirements except that it was almost impossible to assemble.. the so-called tapered pins were not and it was extremely hard to insert them properly

I like it because it's easy grip and the black coating is great so item shows no rust. The value for money is right on and rage comfort of using it is just right not to heavy not to light.

The box was previously opened and poorly repackaged, parts were missing. Bar is not wide enough to fit standard bench. I kept the product but remain overly very disappointed. I do not recommend buying this item.
