I like Tapo as a make. They are always reliable products that are easy to install.This is no exception. Pop in an SD card, screw it tobaxwall, open the app, follow the instructions and you're done.2 months in and it's still on 90%. So the battery is good. And the video quality is excellent. Which is to be expected with Tapo.Now I can keep an eye in my back porch. 😃

I have many indoor Tapo cameras and absolutely love them and this camera is no different. It’s such a great little piece of equipment. The picture quality is great especially in night mode you can see clearly. I have it in my back garden to try deter intruders and keep an eye on my dogs if they are outside. It has great motion detection and seems to be able to tell the difference between a person and animal (however it does not seem to be able to tell the difference at night in the dark). I was testing it with my 2 dogs and myself. It has an alarm feature that it will make a noise if it detects movement in the garden and you can personalise if it’s all movement, a person, an animal or a car. You can set it up so there are flashing lights if it detects movement if you don’t want the alarm sound. It was really easy to mount as is screwed it into my wooden fencing and came with the screws needed. You can also see how much battery life is left on the app. I am very impressed and feel a lot safer with this added security to my home. Just one thing to note that it works off WiFi and even having it right outside my back door it was not reaching the WiFi however I got a WiFi booster plug and plugged it near my back door so the camera works perfectly using the WiFi.

Another value for money camera. Needed one for watching my door for parcel theft. Its smart, records only after detecting motion, can set monitoring zones and adjust sensitivity to record only the most important events. For the price I got it for on a Black Friday deals, I'll surely buy a few more. The recording quality in both modes is decent, 2k, or set it to auto if you're using the cloud for storage.I've had it for 2 weeks now and it's on 85% battery despite me spending loads of time connected to it exploring different functionality. I'm sure the battery would last even longer. Highly recommend this if you want a camera that gets the job done without too many gimmicks.Only drawback is you're limited to use TP Link's cloud storage only if you need the cloud, but it's not so bad.The app is easy to use as well. 4 stars for a great camera, lost one star because I'd have loved to be able to save footage to one drive or Google drive.

Early days, but the product arrived well packaged, and easy to follow instructions. On testing, the images were of good quality. As to the battery life, I wait to see how it performs

Excellent quality, excellent battery life 4 weeks installed and still on 86%. Installed under the eves in extension to protected from above but still exposed to frost and other weather but handles both well. night vision is excellent as is motion detection. All in all excellent at this price point. I would like to see a daily schedule so you can have it on 'home' during the day when you are in and out and 'Away' during the night.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly, this kit is class. I use mine in my tortoise table to check in on my tortoise and see what he’s eaten and where he’s been etc.The first misconception is that people say the live view is slow to connect. This is untrue, and is solely based on the many other complexities within a home network - speed, router, distance to junction box. Remember this is upload speeds, not download speed. The video is being uploaded through your router, not downloaded. Hopefully my video makes that clear for other people who are interested.The second is the weight for mounting. I’ve mounted mine using a paperclip and wire, with the camera facing down. This has been solid and the weight hasn’t made a difference. In fact it feels quite considering it’s a rotating camera!The camera takes very little time to install and setup, it works great with the app and with other Kasa products. Mine is hanging upside down and the image in the app was flipped in the settings menu. The zone feature is fantastic to snap the camera in its different angles of view. I try to cover the important places or as many angles to make navigation quick and easy. However, the joystick is also very usable and makes navigation slower but still smooth and easy.I can’t fault this product, but I haven’t tried the night vision at this time as it isn’t a feature that I use, so bear this in mind. This is great for so many use cases, I can’t recommend it enough :)

Easy to set up. Great picture. So far - does exactly what is claimed. Very pleased. A great value security camera.
