IHQPC100, Bag of 100 Q Plug Cubes, Brown

I should have been using these things a long time ago. Soaked the seeds in RO water overnight, poked them into the Q Plug on day 1, by day 4 there was full deployment of cotyledons and primary leaves are already showing. Will be going into a DWC setup. Spritzing them infrequently with RO just to keep them a little moist.NOTE: These things are known to develop white mold on them. This is apparently a beneficial mold that you can simply rub off. These plugs are great for starting seeds and transplanting them. I start my seeds on a plate with a paper towel to make sure they have good root growing before placing in cube. I also soak the cubes in my seedling nutrients before putting the seeds in. My plants that started in this have grown like crazy, with almost no transplant shock!

This is my second review ever..Like I said this is usually a great product. I've ordered these numerous times, but this time was different.. They weren't broken or dried up or anything, they were made like this.. if you've ever used plugs they usually have a little bit of density to them, so when you stick a clone in it it holds the clone and causes the stem to make contact with the plug, BUT you'll get a really soft and squishy (think kitchen sponge) one every once and a while that don't work and u won't use them. That's normal, we expect that, but This was the ENTIRE bag.. had no choice but to attempt to use them and had the worst failure rate that I personally have ever had.. I ain't perfect but I maintain about a 98% success rate.. take this for what it is.. the one star rating is for this one experience, they're usually about a 3 or 4 thanks

As a commercial grower, Root Riots were our go to for cloning but they changed design and consistency and just don't work like they used to. We gave Q Plugs a try and I couldn't be happier. 99% cloning rate. They do dry out a little faster so keep your eye on them every few days. Because they are lightweight and breath better, the clones root much faster.

I've tried four different kinds of soilless plugs and these are the best in terms of consistency (fewest broken plugs), lowest price, and cleanliness. I've been able to use them for germinating seeds that take over a month to sprout, and as long as I don't expose them too bright light or dirty water, they do not grow mold or algae before germination happens.

Lightest, not too dense stay hydrated easily. All around amazing. Used on multiple types of plants.

I ordered 2 bags of 100 plugs and one bag only had 55 plugs in it!!! Filled one year of 50 and have 15 left. I should have 50!!!
