A Hidden Gem among Matcha Green Teas
As a hardcore tea lover I thought I would try this product out since it's not anything I've ever seen for the mass market, especially on Amazon. For most people, when you think of matcha you usually think of Japan or China, but this tea, in specific is from South Korea and based on the source of this tea, it's from a pretty well-known tea source among tea aficionados.Boseong, South Korea is a pretty famous location in that's a common tourist spot for tea lovers due to the beauty of the area (if you ever get a chance, I suggest looking up photos of this place or even visiting, it's definitely o my bucket list.) and the quality of the local foods made from the tea leaves. It's surprising to see a product like this on Amazon because teas from Boseong are usually pretty pricey due to the quality and nature of tea from this area. Matcha from this area is extremely treasured due to the practices and respect the farmers have for tea in Boseong. Farming is entirely organic since it gets natural shade from the foggy area (which is extremely important for taste and caffeine content) and the tea leaves are hand-picked and ground from the local farmers with little mechanical processes. It's basically craftsman, artisanal tea. From my inspection this product seems to be just that.Color-wise, it's green but not too green so you can tell it's not been tampered with any food colorings or artificial additives. Like all good quality matches I had to strain it to break down the clumps, a common occurrence for high quality matcha due to the static electricity that forms from the tiny grinds.I'll be honest that my whisking skills aren't masterclass but I was happy with the results of the foaming that occurred with this tea. Practice makes perfect so I'll continue to whisk and come back with my results.Smell and taste-wise, it was very light with a vegetable taste with some earthy notes and smooth and silky mouthfeel.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this tea. If you're curious about expanding your tea horizons, I suggest trying this product out.If you want an all-natural, organic green tea that few people have experienced this is definitely a matcha for you.TIPS: Make sure you use the right water temperature for your matcha. I heated my matcha to 175 degrees Fahrenheit (or 79 degrees Celsius). If you over boil your matcha it's gonna taste bad since you'll be burning the delicate tea. And always always use a sifter to help with dissolving!

It's matcha
I don't have much experience with matcha green tea, but it's not bad. Definitely different from tea bags and loose leaf. I wish there was more of it in the bag, but the price seems to be fair when compared with other brands.

Good matcha, good value
My kids are obsessed with matcha flavored snacks so I thought of making some matcha pancakes and the popular tiktok Dalgona styled matcha drink for breakfast. Although I was wary at first due to past purchases of matcha powder from other brands as they all have a bitter aftertaste, this one exceeded my expectations! It dissolves instantly and has a lovely flavor. The package arrived smaller than I expected but it goes a long way since you only need a little to obtain the desired taste. Here’s the recipe if you want to create a dalgona drink that looks like in the picture:Extract whites from 2 eggs and beat it with a whisk. Then add simple syrup made from sugar and hot water and whisk it until the mixture turns silky smooth. Then sift some of the matcha green tea powder (you only need a little!) and continue whisking it until it thickens and holds its foamy shape. This will only take about 5 mins if whisking by hand to get the optimal fluffiness! Lastly, fill the glass with ice and milk and swirl the whipped match on top, then mixing it before drinking if desired

green fresh and silky matcha for tea lovers as well as newbies
When I smelled the fine green tea powders in the bag, fresh green aroma reached my nose. Wow, as I expected - because the Boseong green tea plantation is a renowned place for high-quality teas in south Korea - yes, it is one of the products of Boseong. The taste is neither fishy nor bitter at all but it is fresh and silky. Taste of young leaves is silky but old ones can be bitter. Thus for newbies who want to start to drink organic matcha (green tea powder) for health, this product can be a good choice as well. As a tea lover, I am very happy to find Ocean Breeze's fine, fresh, and silky organic matcha from Boseong.

It’s alright
It’s a great product if you want to make hot teas. The aroma is rich and strong that does satisfy your needs. However, if you want to make it into smoothies or ice green tea then look elsewhere because it’s too bitter.

You need to try this Matcha!
The media could not be loaded. I have been on a healthy diet the past few years and recently got off coffee and into tea. I had to find out what all of the hype was about Matcha because I just assumed Green Tea was Green tea. I am on a high vegetable diet and blend my raw veggies early in the morning and Green Tea is usually my lunch hour drink.WOW! If you are a Green Tea Matcha connoisseur or of tea in general, I highly recommend that you try this product. The flavor was smooth and it definitely blends in well with hot water and honey. Now if you prefer your Matcha with some milk or creamy products you will not be disappointed at all. I tricked my daughter by using a Starbucks cup and prepared my Matcha with milk and she asked what the drink was called so she could order it again next time!

great flavor
I bought this for copycat version of Starbucks Matcha Pineapple drink and voila!! The flavor was great and it had full flavor of matcha. Not bitter and actually very nutty flavor.I am going to try making Iced Matcha Latte for these hot summer days and I cannot wait. One thing to improve.. The package came in not so great condition. It did not affect the package or the product.

High quality green tea powder perfect for your matcha latte
Such a great tasting and wonderful green tea. I’ve gotten many matcha powders on Amazon and this is by far the best quality for your buck. It also makes me less worried about any nuclear waste and air quality of where the leaves were grown like other products from Japan or China.Like others mentioned, the colors lighter due to the way the green tea powder is processed. This also deepens the taste of the green tea, making it a perfect powder for your morning matcha. HighlyRecommend!
