I am 59. I was not raised with any faith though I felt Jesus calling my whole life. I converted to Catholism 14 years ago. No matter what ones faith is, The Bible is not any easy read and for that reason perhaps it is not given the attention it should be. This book is such an easy read and is SO informative. I recommend this so highly. You will not be disappointed. I will read this over and over and give as gifts.

I like having simplified versions of the Bible stories on my Kindle. This is a lovely publication of such stories.

I did not read all of this book because Sister Mary gives her opinion on Angels, how Adam and Eve were created, and whether Adam and Eve really lived in the garden of Eden. There are words used that even I had to look up the meaning in the dictionary.All in all, I think I'll stick to a Childrens Bible that the Church recommends, and will not read this book to my grandchildren.

I actually have five copies of this bible. Each of my children wanted to read along while I read. I won't speak for the beginning portion being as we started at transfiguration but it like what we've read this far. I do get a bit puzzled over name spellings but other than that the pictures help the children understand.

I GOT THIS FOR MY NEPHEW, WHO UNTIL NOW THE ONLY BIBLE STORIES HE HAD WERE CHRISTIANS EVENTHOUGH WE ARE CATHOLIC! (i know, christians are just easier to find)I DECIDED TO FINALLY GET HIM SOMETHING CATHOLIC TO USE AS REFERENCE AND HELP UNDERSTAND A LITTLE MORE ABOUT OUR FAITH.EVERYONE LOVED IT, ESPECIALLY HIS MOTHER, GREAT STORIES, NOT TOO LONG, BEST FOR READING BEFORE BED TIME. HE ENJOYED IT A LOT.

My little one has been asking for a "children's" version of the Ignatius Bible, this makes it easier for her to get the bigger picture and relate with the beautiful illustrations.

EXCELLENT FOR TWEENERS AND THOSE KIDS THAT ARE BETWEEN 9-11!BIG SIZE BOOK, BOTH PARENT AND CHILD CAN READ TOGETHER!WONDERFUL EXAMPLES OF THE BIBLE!HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Very good but written a while ago so not as easy to read to a child as I thought but does the job.
