ARTEMISTORE Abalone Shell (4") - NOT for Export - US ONLY

I received my abalone shell today and was fully disappointed. I purchased the "X-Large" option which the product page stated would be sized between 6-6.5 inches and measured in at just a hair over 5 inches. Before Artemistore froths at the mouth over this review, as they have over each poor review of this product, I would like to inform them that I will indeed be providing picture based evidence of my complaint below. In addition to receiving an undersized shell, the shell I received was just generally lacking and chipped in two places. In reading other reviews I found that the Artemistore has berated and attempted to defame customers because they did not seek a return. Please let me explain why I am reviewing this product poorly and not seeking a refund. My time is currently worth $15.00 and hour, this product cost me $13.00. My estimate is that it would take me about an hour to complete the process of shipping this item back to the seller plus cost of materials, which leaves me with a deficit of at least $2.00. Maybe this is why other complainants have not requested returns? It is the seller's responsibility to ensure that their product matches the product description that they provide. Because my product was damaged, not as described, and generally low quality (the muscle scar took up the majority of the shell and was the most concerning scar I've personally seen) I am rating this product with a single star.

I had no problems with my shell. It is not the pinkish color like the picture but more of a blue hue and I absolutely love it. I have not used it to smudge my home yet and do not know if the shell can take the heat from the incense but I got what I wanted.

This is exactly the size I was searching for. I was skeptical that measurements would be accurate, very happy with the shell I received

I was very nervous to make the wrong choice. The shell was bigger than I expected and of absolute beautiful quality. The colors are perfect. It is something that will become a keepsake and we will use for many occasions. The packaging was properly done and the shell arrived without any damage or cracks. Highly recommend.

They were beautiful. Not as large as I had hoped for, but nevertheless beautiful. And the wooden holders were intricate and added all the more to the beauty of them.

A beautiful piece don't get me wrong. It was just alot smaller then I was expecting. Please look at the measurements closely before ordering.

These were NOT as advertised. I bought medium shells, which were supposed to be 4-5 inches in size..all of the ones i received were no longer than 3 inches ( i measured them), and one was 2.6 inches!! what a rip off for the money!
