I had to buy another Genie garage door opener and my old Genie touchpad outside was not supported. This new one was a breeze to setup and mount. Works perfectly now.FYI, if you can't program your old touchpad after several frustrating attempts and also calling Genie for advice you more than likely you need a newer model.

I saved myself hundreds of dollars by buying this and installing it myself! It was very simple install. Drill, screwdriver and provided screws! I recommend setting the codes before putting it up just in case you need to do it again. Read the directions online.Once I locked my keys in my car and couldn’t get into my house because the keys were in the car and so was the door clicker!!! Now Solved!!Also in an EMERGENCY I don’t have to worry about Ambulance or Police knocking my door down to get in. I posted a neighbor’s name and phone so he can give them the code. Also I can set a one-time code for an Amazon driver delivery.

Easy to program with genie door opener.Only warning that opening the case to install on wall may invoke it falling apart and needing to be put back together. I didn't it wasn't a problem.I had to clear the memory first before programing but the instructions are easy to follow and listed on the device itself.
