Great Product
I had reached an all time low energy level even though my labs were all good. I decided to add more protein into my day. I drink this (with my collagen) at least one time a day. Great in coffee, juice, almond milk. Recently I was sick and added it to my dandelion tea and turmeric, wonderful! Highly recommended, I have my energy back! Chocolate is awesome too.

Palatable and Protein Packed
I've tried a few protein powders over the years, and this is the only one I have found that agrees with my gut.It is plant based, relying mainly on pea protein (instead of whey) in addition to many sprouted seeds, grains (though gluten free) and beans. The vanilla flavor (there are other flavors and varieties) is my go-to, and there is NO sugar + a respectable amount of probiotics. A healthy 22grams of protein in a serving is a simple way to add nutrition to smoothies AND baked goods!

Flavor needs some help but it works
Taste is pretty rough for me I'm going to be honest. Blending it in smoothies doesn't really help unless you add sugar or some kind of heavy sweetener. Over all it's a good product for what I'm using it for, but be wary if you can't mask that flavor.

Exceptional
Exceptional, I’m so shocked at how great the taste is , especially since it’s dairy free. I was prepared for chalky or just a bad tasting product. I’m very happy with it ingredients and the taste.

This is helping immensely with my health journey!
I'm in my mid-30s and was starting to get bogged down with a bunch of extra weight. I am about 5'11 and was getting up to the 235lb point. Feeling sluggish, tired all the time, eating too much, and just not making healthy choices. On top of that, I work from home and wasn't getting any exercise in, so my body just wasn't doing well. This year I decided to make a change.I work out pretty much every day now with 30 minutes of decent intensity cardio (heart rate ~155 for at least 20 minutes) and do some weight lifting about 3x a week to target some areas of my body that are weaker. I have also started counting calories and keeping around 1300kCal a day with an intermittent fast to lose some of the extra weight. This Garden of Life powder is a great meal substitute for my lunches! On the plan, I do not eat a morning breakfast, work out over my lunch break from work, and then have one of these to break my fast as a lunchtime meal replacement. I'll eat a normal high-protein dinner to get to my calorie goal for the day.I mix this with an unsweetened oat milk for a 120 calorie protein boost after working out. I am not dairy-free or vegan, I just like how oat milk tastes. Adds a nice creaminess to this powder. After blending for at least 30 seconds in a nutribullet, this comes out as a pretty nice shake. Smooth, non-grainy and a decent cocoa flavor. I also appreciate how the plant-based protein really rounds out my diet. With this plan, I have lost about 35lbs in about 2.5 months. This protein shake helps me feel satiated enough over the day (I am in a deficit, so I do feel hungry and just have to push through it). My body looks better, I have real natural energy, and I am reaching fitness goals I never thought possible. I should be to my goal weight by this summer and I couldn't do it without some modern health supplementation and hard work.

DON'T BUY THIS OR ANY Garden of Life products!
I am so disgusted and appalled by the findings of extremely HIGH AND DANGEROUS levels of heavy metals in the Garden of Life products. I literally clicked purchase on a canister of the chocolate raw protein powder yesterday...and I noticed an increase in 1 star reviews- I started reading and did some research and within an hour CANCELLED my order! I have been a dedicated consumer of Garden of Life products for 3 years. Having an autoimmune disease, I have gone to great lengths to eat as healthy and clean as possible and have used their powders as supplements in the morning and when traveling (nearly daily for 3 years)...and to think they could be contributing to my condition is leveling. What is worse is the original research findings, article and related links have nearly all been taken down or changed. This move to me completely puts Natural News (who originally reported the data) and Garden of Life's credibility in poor light. They are now reporting a "collaboration on stricter standards and practices.."..blah..blah. Praising them for their amazing "PR" move is wearisome. An agreement for better standards is great..if it even happens (which is now the only thing being reported even by the original "watch dog" who broke the research for the public)...but having been a part of similar "agreements" in various industries as a marketing and strategy partnership professional...it is actually quite laughable. They need to pull their products off shelves, do a recall for the ones out there with refunds, apologize and take true responsibility. Shame on them also for "not knowing their farmers" as well as they should. If this were another industry (auto, oil, airline, toy industry)..the mainstream media and public would be carrying pitchforks and torches...it baffles me how big and deep the cover-ups go in the food industry and Garden of Life should fall from grace because of this. Shame on Amazon as well for continuing to support and sell their products. If this were a child's toy covered in heavy metals- everyone would be crying for blood from this company. I am as disappointed as everyone else who loved their products..and I desperately didn't want to believe it..as I was drinking my protein shake yesterday and hitting "buy" on Amazon...and noticed this information. Thank you other reviewers for pointing this out.I hope Garden of Life gets sued.....and they lose marked business from this...they have lost me and I will do ALL I can to let others know not to buy their products.Thank you.
