In my opinion, the guitar is the most fascinating instrument ever. That is only true if one excludes the human voice and the possibilities presented by body percussion.For the price and convenience this volume is an excellent starting point. It’s accessibility conceals a deceptive depth, even as it effortlessly introduces the guitarist to impossibly possible musical worlds.Money well-spent for a passport to inner creative power and outward emotional performance.

If you've heard Harvey Reid play, you'll know why you need this book: he's pure genius. His playing style is eclipsed only by his depth of knowledge and understanding of music, which he freely shares in this book. It's not a tutorial on how to play in DADGAD, it's a valuable resource to help you play better DADGAD. If you are a beginner, you might not be ready for it. If you're slightly more advanced, say heading toward intermediate level, it will help your playing soar.

It was sooo complete, that it was a bit too daunting. No one could memorize all those chords. He did a great job though, and it is as it was advertised...Big.

Very comprehensive more than you probably need but good to dip into

so many variations of different chords i will check out more fromthis author .

Gd but I wish chord books in general were arranged by Key rather than alphabetically, might just be me but I'd find that much more useful musically. And spiral bound as well for sitting on a music stand. Nonetheless, great reference book .
