DeLalloOrganic Whole Wheat Orzo Pasta, 17 Ounce - 16 per case.

When our local market decided to stop carrying this pasta, we turned to Amazon and there it was. Including delivery is was a few cents more than local, but well worth it. We have tried several other brands of whole wheat orzo and found most tasted much like steamed cardboard. Delallo is different--it tastes very much like my mime made whole wheat egg noodles. It is rich in fiber and the one pound packages keep well. This is the best tasting whole wheat orzo we have found to date. Be forewarned that they come 8 to an order so you better like orzo before ordering in that quantity.

This is an incredibly healthy product. It's organic and 100% whole wheat. It's also very tasty when cooked according to directions--it's pasta, and takes about 7 minutes to boil. I bought another brand of whole wheat orzo online, and it tasted like cardboard, even though it was the same ingredients. I hate having to buy food online, but whole wheat orzo just isn't available in my small Wisconsin city. I highly recommend this Delallo orzo.

I was skeptical about whole wheat pasta but this is a very good product. Its a great way to eliminate some of the white flour from my diet. One great way that I use it is to saute a large pan of vegetables (whatever I have on hand) and then add the cooked orzo (instead of rice). It makes a great side dish. I use 2 oz(uncooked) per person being served.

I love this orzo, which is why I bought a 16 pack. When my order arrived, there was only 8 in the box. I was very disappointed. I contacted the seller, who was nice enough to refund half my money, but I asked them for the rest of the product. I would have preferred receiving the rest of the product over the money. Maybe, and that’s a big maybe, next time they’ll get it right.

I used this to make my own super, super delicious "rice-a-roni" recipe. It tasted so good! I highly recommend this product. If anyone is interested in the recipe, it's: Put about 3 T. of olive oil in a skillet. Brown a mixture of 1/2 cup Orzo Pasta, 1/2 cup brown rice, and 1/4 cup white rice in the oil for about 5-10 minutes. Then pour in about 18 ounces (one can plus 1/2 cup) of Swanson's chicken broth and let simmer until all the liquid is soaked up by the rice (about 20 minutes) thanks :)

Does not hold up after cooking as well as their semolina orzo, which is a bummer because I try to only eat whole wheat pasta. I would not buy this product again.

Quick and easy to prepare. This is one of the few whole wheat pastas I've found that has a great taste. I use orzo in place of rice in recipes, as well as in soups, etc.

Most whole wheat pasta tastes differently than regular white pasta, but you can't really tell that this is whole wheat except from the color. Tastes great!
