I bought this because my wife's 1998 New Beetle has a longstanding (and common) problem with the airbag light constantly coming on. I have a vag com controller so I can clear the light to reset the system with that, but it means I have to get the laptop out to the garage to do it. I bought this scanner so I could do it quickly and easily and that is exactly what I got. It works perfectly and is easy to use. I would do it again in a heartbeat given the low price.

The product seemed to be pretty decent, but it wouldn’t link to my 2011 Jetta sport wagon kept getting the link failure screen I followed the instructions per the easy to read hand book But it wouldn’t work, it’s a good deal if you can get it to work it just didn’t for me

Excellent little scan tool. It reads the CAN BUS system in my 2004 Volkswagen passat and can even read and clear airbag module codes. I use this scanner quite frequently with my car and it hasn't let me down yet. I also use a lemur blue driver Obd2 scanner. Lemur provides detailed repair reports and part suggestions but takes about 5 minutes to scan. This takes about 15 seconds and does more because it can interface with CAN BUS and OBD 2 protocols for safely 1/5th the price or my Lemur scanner. I highly recommend this scanner to anyone who owns a Volkswagen or Audi.

I opened the package and rhe connector was hanging outside the package. The package had been used before because there are staples along the sides. I almost cut my hand. Not good...😲

I bought this to reset the airbag light on my 2004 VW Golf when I had to temporarily disconnect the passenger seat harness. Worked perfectly, a little clunky but overall worth every penny.

12/03/21 07 vw jetta i bought this specifically to erase the srs airbag light wich can be triggered so easily i stared at that ugly yellow light for 2 years till this awesome little scanner did the job with ease i recommend this strongly!!

Didn’t work. Used this when the check engine light came on. I followed the instructions. I tried all options. Each and every time I got message ‘no code’. Brought the car to the mechanic. He used a Matco scanner and within seconds he retrieved the code. Maybe mine was defective. Nevertheless didn’t work for me and wouldn’t recommend.

Cheap, but worked well enough for my 2016 Tiguan.
