I don’t write many reviews, but I put a lot of stock in them when I buy online. To date, I’ve purchased two of these mattresses, a customized king for my RV and a queen for a guest bedroom. Both mattresses have been terrific. No smell at all like some others have mentioned. Both mattresses expanded to full size and are very comfortable. I need another custom size for my daughters antique bed frame and will definitely purchase from this company. They were extremely accommodating and easy to work with when ordering the custom mattress. I like that it’s American made, and I feel that these are an excellent value for your money.Sure, some people have been disappointed and I don’t discount those reviews. Mattress comfort is very subjective. My wife and I both like this mattress. I’m 2 for 2 on these and have absolutely no regrets. Even if they don’t last more than a few years, at this price, I’ll just buy another one.

My friend has this mattress and after crashing at her apt, I had to get it for myself. The mattress comes rolled up (which worried me at first) but it actually made it super convenient to move it into the bedroom on my own. Once you open it, it rolls out and takes its normal shape. They recommend airing it out for 24 hrs but I agree with other commentors and recommend letting it air out 2-3 days. I did that and there is no smell. The bed is super comfortable and feels like a fancy hotel bed. Def recommend.

We just got our new mattress yesterday, so we've only slept on it for one night, but so far we're quite impressed. The mattress arrived earlier than we expected, and was packaged well. When we opened the plastic wrap, it only took about 4 hours until we were able to sleep on it. Initially, the "new foam" smell was hardly noticeable, but 24 hours in a closed room later, I'm wishing we had aired it out a bit more. On to the important stuff: my husband is 6'4", 260lbs, and he says that when he lies on his side, he feels as though his hips sink too far into this mattress, making him uncomfortable; however, when he is on his back, he feels perfectly fine. He has a bad back and has always awakened with terrible back pain. This morning he woke up with no upper back pain and minimal lower back pain. He says that if he has no back pain tomorrow, he will consider that a mattress success.I am 5'7", 200lbs, and typically, when I lie down in bed, I spend the first 5-10 minutes trying to relieve my horrible sciatic nerve pain. The first thing I noticed was that I did not have even a twinge of pain upon getting into bed on this mattress! That hasn't happened in years. I find the mattress to be incredibly comfortable in every position (but I'm not a stomach sleeper, so I didn't stay in that position for long). It doesn't transfer motion at all, and it sleeps relatively cool. I did not experience any of the sag that my husband reported. This morning, I woke up with no back, neck, or head pain for the first time in years, and I experienced NO SCIATIC NERVE PAIN all day today!!!! I'm thrilled!

Bought the 12 inch for our master, 8 inch for guest and daughters room. Excellent mattresses. The 12 inch king is slightly softer than the 8 inch king. Both are great though. The twin is also excellent. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

My daughter bought this mattress for her guest room in Arizona so I tried it there and liked it so much I ordered one as a replacement for my 20 year old Tempurpedic in Michigan. It arrived several days early so I had to wait for my son to remove from the box and set it up. The price on this is excellent for the quality. 20 years ago a mattress of this quality for this price just wasn't possible. I look forward to many years of service and comfort from this mattress. It does have a 20 year warranty and, best of all, it is made in the USA. My two sisters have also purchased this mattress so we have become an Original Foam Factory family.

UPDATE: 4 years later and we have no indications that the mattress is wearing, sagging, or otherwise needs replaced. This is our third mattress in a box. The first was not a name brand and the second was a Serta. This mattress is better in every way, the smell when new, decompression time when first unpackaged, and overall comfort are all better. UPDATE: We still love it after 3 years and two weeks of constant use. We have it on an adjustable bed so in addition to all the “normal” use we also raise it up like a couch for morning coffee and family movie nights. Still as comfortable as when it was new!
