Car Scenter Electric Diffuser Plus 5 Refill Pads

This is great! I would never have thought of diffusing essential oils in the car, but I love it! I used about 4 drops each of two different oils and the aroma still filled the car (a large SUV) when we arrived at our destination about an hour later. I really enjoy using this product and highly recommend it.

Exactly what I was hoping for. I was skeptical because it was only $8. But, It works great and the pads dont need to be changed as often as I thought. I ordered a 30 pack of replacement pads, but I highly doubt I will need them anytime soon. It comes with 5 replacement pads too. The 30 pack was "Carscenter Car Scenter Scentball Scent Ball Diffuser Refill Pads - Package of 30". Would highly recommend for your car if you want to have essential oils to smell.

I first got one of these from The Body Shop.. It cost an arm and a leg, but I loved the scents and it was cool having my car smell nice with all those scents you can choose. This is a MUCH cheaper option and they give you the refill pads, I don't change the pad till I change the scent though or till a bottle runs out!. The scent dissipates quickly, but when the car is perfectly clean, it seems to permeate everything and last longer. I think you'll enjoy it. It's better than those run of the mill fragrances that they charge $5.00 for in Autozone etc.

Works great and cheaper than competitors. comes with 5 or 6 little pads. I have to completely soak them every month in my oil of choice, but I have a different pad for each scent and I don't mind switching them out. Works great and innocuous, Would definitely buy again.

After reading several reviews about how certain scents do not last, I wanted to write a review to share a bit about my own experience. The diffuser works well, but the longevity of the fragrance has quite a bit to do with the oil one chooses. For example, more "volatile" (i.e. quickly evaporating)oils such as citrus will dissipate rapidly, whereas more stable, resinous oils like patchouli or myrrh will last much longer between reapplications to the scent pad. The addition of a heating element--the diffuser-- only hastens the evaporation process, particularly when using a natural Essential Oil. Synthetic fragrance oils will last longer as well, but I prefer not to breathe an oil whose chemical makeup is unknown to me. I do some blending of the oils, following perfumery principles (top note, middle note, base note) and have created some very pleasant blends that are more lasting. A favorite is grapefruit, lavender, and vanilla. I mix equal parts of each and then put about 8-10 drops of the blend on the diffuser pad. It does need to be refreshed every few days, but I actually enjoy that since if I want to change scents I don't have to worry about the old one lingering.

This, well... it just seems lacking quality. Ok, It was only around $8.00 but it just looks flimsy. This is a prime example of you get what you pay for. Maybe it works great, I have no idea. I was all ready to ship it back for a refund, had started the process and waiting for UPS to pick it up, but I decided to at least give it a chance. I will update you soon. *****UPDATE***** I tried it out. I put some Young Living Citrus Fresh essential oils on the pad, inserted it in the diffuser, plugged it in, and.....nothing. The light turned green but no aroma. I cannot recommend this product. This is going back.
