Farm-to-Table, Grown & Made in the USA. Libby's Cut Green Beans are cultivated in the U.S. heartland by multigenerational, U.S. farmers on family-owned farms located primarily Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, New York and Wisconsin. This is the prime growing region for Green Beans with its fertile soil and ideal combination of sun and rain fall. Once harvested our green beans travel just miles and are prepared in state-of-the art, FDA inspected facilities within hours of being picked! Our Green Beans are seasonally grown and harvested fresh at the peak of ripeness. "Seasonally grown" means that every year, typically in late April-May, we plant our Green Beans and then let them grow for until June when the harvest begins. Green Beans have a longer season than peas. In a normal year all of our Green Beans are harvested and prepared, sealing in their naturally deliciously mild, subtly sweet flavor and tender-crisp texture by September!

Canned Green Beans
I bought these canned green beans to make a three bean salad. I mixed green beans, yellow wax beans, and half a can of kidney beans with Italian dressing, and put in the refrigerator over night. Makes a quick 3 bean salad.

Dented cans
All cans came dented and a couple of them I wasn’t able to open because of dents.

Good price. Rapid delivery.
The local stores were out of canned green beans - the one of two vegetables my nephew will eat. He loved them. I was pleased with the quick delivery and price.

Good tasting, good value.
I keep these in my pantry continually. There are great when serving so many dishes. I especially like them with meatloaf and mashed potatoes - yum! They just complete the meal.

Damaged
50 % of the cans were damaged - I bought only 4 -. If it was only 1 out of 12 I probably would say nothing but 2 out of 4? Of course I'll keep them I think I can use the can opener with one but will need to open by hand for the other one. The contents should be fine and the 1 star rating only had to do with the damaged cans.

Dented cans
Two of the cans are dented so I had to toss them, because there’s no way to know if they’re safe to use. It’s not like this happened during shipping. If the goods are damaged,it should be mentioned in the description. A total waste of money.
