Good Rich, nutrient dense , dark soil that retains water well and is packed with beneficial Compost!
A very good, organic, dark, rich potting soil! It has many beneficial nutrients and compost added in. I use this for my indoor house plants such as Pothos, Ferns and Spider plants etc...just to name a few. If a plant does not appreciate it’s roots staying wet I do add Perlite to the soil. This is not a fast-draining soil and thus another medium such a Perlite should be added! This is great as the main soil in your mixture as it’s very rich and good for your plants! Yes it’s expensive but you get back what you give out to your plants!

Great product
This is the only soil I use. I add whatever I need to this (perlite, charcoal, sand, bark, whatever) and my plants are all thriving. I've used it for years. I have over 125 plants.

NO BUGS!
Just made a pot of dirt for a transplant, I looked through it, and saw no bugs or eggs. Did a hydrogen peroxide drench anyway, but that's refreshing. It has a nice fresh smell and fluffy constitution.

Not good for potting plants, more like peat moss
The media could not be loaded. Doesn't absorb water (see video), doesn't pack down like soil should, has lumps of matter in it like bark or peat moss lumps. They say only packages that have not been opened can be returned but how can you know what it's like if you don't try to use it? NOT recommended. Hasn't been composed long enough.

Light weight and recommended
Plant is thriving. Wish I had more. Light and full of nutrients. Seems better than a hear-to-for unmentioned leading brand that boasts larger yields.

Our go-to planting soil
Our go-to planting mix for all containers and deck planters. Switched to all-organic (OMRI listed) a couple of years ago, and Coast of Maine has been the most consistent quality of any brand. Not the cheapest stuff out there, but you get what you pay for! They're a small, local company in Portland – love to support the little guys.

Decent soil.. Wish it was priced reasonably
Good soil. Though I wish the trend of using peat moss will be soon replaced by more renewable sources such as coco coir. The soil is pretty light and roots flourish in it, but nothing too extraordinary. I tested a bunch of souls and was able to get same resulted with others less than half the price of this one. Also wish this was priced a bit more reasonably.

Amazing! Look at the pictures
I live in Canada and we have cold winters so we usually don't grow anything in winter here. But this winter I just wanted to grow something indoor so I got some lights and I thought I'll grow some fresh herbs ( Parsley, Basil, Sage etc.. ) Well I only used this product with some white little rocks for better aeration and drainage and look at the pic. I don't add anything to my water nutrients or what not. Just this earth and some rocks and wow. Amazing. You guys better stock up on this because next summer I'm getting a hole lot of this for my raised beds!!
