He brings in generations to enjoy his music. Everyone identifies with his zest for life and partying and summertime on the beach. Our whole family loves him. His music makes you happy and lighthearted and want to dance and sing along and celebrate.

I got most of all of his music. Very sad he is gone.

What’s not to like! A Parrot Head Must!

This would be five stars - hey, it's Jimmy Buffett! - but the song file tags on the first CD are completely wrong. The songs are from "Sun, Sea & Margaritas," but what shows up is a playlist from "Boats, Beaches, Bars & Ballads." So your CD player (fi so equipped) is showing a song that is not the song playing. Wild, mon!Otherwise, this is the most all-inclusive collection of songs you can get at this price point. Pass the rum.

There are plenty of Jimmy Buffett collections out there; but for those new to his music this is great value and a good place to start. It's not really a 'best of' as there are too many wonderful songs that don't make it aboard this trip; but there are enough classic songs from Jimmy's wonderful oeuvre to introduce the first-time listener. For those already familiar with much of this material there is a nice inclusion of songs that maybe you haven't heard in a while, or others that you'd perhaps missed or had passed you by. Listening to this collection I'm also struck for the first time by just how perfect are some of the arrangements and instrumentation. Marvellous lyrics also make these songs a rewarding pleasure every time you revisit them, like old friends who live down by the shore. Jimmy has always been one of the best lyricists around, and his words are sometimes as wise and deep as the ocean he sails upon. Beautiful stuff.

Great Music, Brings back memories

I had heard Jimmy Buffett's song 'Changes In Latitudes......' on the radio, and loved it, so I thought I would try one of his albums. So pleased I did, and chose this one. Every song is enjoyable, and I'm learning more about him from his music and what I read about him. Who knows, the next step might be to be one of those 'Jimmy Buffett' Caribbean t shirts, to wear in my back garden while listening to the CD !
