Design ToscanoEU1094 Trip to the Moon Wall Sculpture, Antique Stone,8"dia x5"H

I watched the movie that this mask is a representation of and loved the old silent movie. It was fun and unique and had a cheery disposition. The film was black and white and had lines and film degradation that made it uniquely interesting. The mask infuses the feel of the film into it. Its exactly like the moon face in the film. It is small. I'm not sure if that is good or bad. I am into astronomy so for me it was a perfect fit to my mask collection and possesses a special place on my wall. Currently it doesn't stand out very well on my beige wall but I guess that I will have to remedy that myself. It would look good against a black or dark blue back ground.

Wonderful item as is or you can paint to match the original in the movie, not hard as there is only dim colors to paint when you see the picture. Very detailed and will look great being put on display in house or work etc. This can also be put on a plate holder for desk/table ….Fast Shipping

This was a very unique (and good quality) item and we were thrilled to find it. Our 5 year old son is fascinated with the colorized version of Georges Melies "A Trip to the Moon". My husband is an artist and masterfully painted this sculpture to match the Moon in the movie. So fun!

I've purchased Design Toscano stuff in the past and it was great...no surprise this Trip to the Moon wall hanging is also just what I expected. Saw it some time ago...waited....finally bought it. It's sturdy and interesting and I love it. I may buy another one if I choose to gift a friend! Fun.

Awesome sculpture, great detail and it absolutely pops out and catches anyone's attention. Not the exact design as the film version, but personally I prefer this look because it looks trippy and kinda animated.

I bought this as a gift for my Mother. She absolutely loves it. It is already hanging in a prominent spot on her living room wall. The picture represents the product accurately.

Really pleased with this. This appears to be based off the "caricature moon" on the statue at the end of the, "A Trip To The Moon' movie. It is as depicted in the picture. It would very easily be paintable, if someone wished. Great size, great conversation piece. Got it at a price drop, which was icing on the cake. Would re-purchase.
