It's ok for my inteded use
First off this does not fit a standard GI canteen cup, it's quite a bit smaller. It does not hold the same volume of water as a standard does. I only got this because I wanted to be able to boil water in it if need be and for that it will work. I suggest looking elsewhere if your looking for more than just that. Not impressed but glad I only paid 12$
