Great Kids Book
I gave this as a gift to my nephews and we read it together. It spurred on great conversations about when we make mistakes, how we should not hide our mistakes but confess them, and what God's response is when we confess. Overall, a sweet book with a lot of great conversation starters and a meaningful message.

Honest and Accessible!
I really loved this little book. It's engaging and compelling. The graphics are amazing. And it's a good tool to engage with concepts of honesty, relationship, repentance, and forgiveness.

Great story for example of Truth
Wanted our little to know the difference between lies and truth- without giving several explanations. She loved this book and it made the discussions about truth and lies so much easier and clearer for her. It’s one of her faves.

Very relatable for a child!
We’ve had this book for about six months now, and it’s story gets brought up often :). Our young children can definitely relate to Arlo. The most important part we end up discussing is when Arlo gets his consequence for his actions. We talk about him being sad of the punishment, but remembering his mother still loves him. It’s a great segue into God‘s love for us! Highly recommend this book for kids up to age 7.

More than a one time read!
We loved this book! It was a great teaching tool and my child loved the pictures. I can tell this is one we will pull out again to reteach some of the lessons reinforced in this book. Truth is always best and I’m so glad my child was able to learn from Arlo’s story.

Perfect
I have children ages 4,8,11 and 12. They all loved this book and were able to take something out of it! I love the scripture references and how I was able to use the Bible to along with this story which was so relatable to them. I loved that Arlo has a consequence for his actions of losing his screen time.

Meh
Cool art, decent enough story, but surprisingly simplistic and basic writing style. Not particularly rich literature.
