Weak ending -- but I still love Jerry and Glory
This series used to be one of my favorites. It's good the author is letting it go, because the Olympus gods story is just awful. The appeal of Glory was that she was an everyday woman (vampire) who had body issues and man issues. We spent books falling in love with how down to Earth she was -- and we were waiting for her and Jerry to get their happily ever after. In an attempt to make Glory "special" -- we suddenly had to deal with gods and ridiculous Greek mythology that just ruined the whole series. The point of the series is that Glory was fine as she was -- so why did the author feel the need to make Glory something bigger than she was? I didn't like it.This book spends half the time in Olympus (and it's a very painful story line). The only parts I liked were Jerry and Glory. Then, back on Earth, it's back to wedding planning and cheating on Jerry with Ray. Since Glory's dalliance with Ray made her look like a pig, I was not happy to see it touched on again. It just makes Jerry look like a cuckhold -- and I honestly have no idea what he sees in Glory. As a whole, I did notice a few odd things in this one. The dialogue seemed off in some scenes -- especially where Jerry was concerned. There were a lot of grammar and punctuation errors. On the plus side, there were a ton of hot sex scenes. And, while Glory waffling about marrying Jerry at the beginning of the book felt false, her trying to save him and get their life back on track felt right for the couple. So, it really was a mixed bag. Some really good stuff, and some really bad stuff. I can't help but wonder if the series could have lived longer if it hadn't been ruined by the Olympus stuff. We'll never know -- but I'm glad I got to spend time with Jerry and Glory.

Don't miss this final installment of the Real Vampire series!
Book eleven in the Real Vampire series is everything we have wanted for these awesome friends, who also happen to be vampires. After centuries of establishing her independence, Glory is at last ready to accept Blade’s proposal of marriage and be his partner for all eternity. The perfect wedding is planned and she has even found the perfect dress. Unfortunately, her mother has a different plan -- and when your mother is an Olympic Goddess (the daughter of Zeus) her plans matter! Even if she has to abduct you against your will to get her way. Days before her wedding, Glory arrives in Olympus, where she is no longer a vampire. In fact, she is now a size two and has a closet full of designer labels. Before long, Glory discovers she has more family than she ever wanted! And when her grandfather, Zeus, arranges Glory’s marriage to the God of his choosing, it seems that Glory will never have her Happily Ever After with Blade. Fortunately, Glory also has a pretty powerful father, none other than Mars, God of War, and he wants nothing more than to make his daughter happy. But even Mars must answer to Zeus, so what can be done?Don’t miss this final installment of the Real Vampire saga!

Might be what some consider a slight spoiler....Definitely not the best Glory book, but worth a read if you've read from start
I love these happy simple gloriana books, but i wish we'd get back to stories similar to in the beginning, sorry i dont know how to better explain. I hated the olympus crap in this book. its lame and weird. ALso, my major sticking point in this book was Gloriana, she was not very nice at all. Her mother steals her away to olympus and time moves differently there so she ends up being gone for a long while and when she gets back she is not nice or appreciative to the women who kept her store running!!!! She just wasnt the generous kind, but tough Glory, I've come to love and it was disappointing. I even thought to myself that if Glory follows this pattern in coming books i might stop reading. i really hope she gets back to kind generous and loses the attitude and ego she had in this book. anyway, still worth a read if youve been with glory since the start, but definitely not a favorite.

Best series ending EVER!!!!!
This is the last book in the Real Vampires series and I'm sad. Having said that, I LOVED IT!!! Glory and Blade have been thru so much over the centuries and have had their ups and downs but, I've always rooted for them to have an HEA. This book tells us all about Glory finding out where her special powers come from and the fact that her parents are Olympian Gods. Her mother kidnaps her, then her father brings Blade up to fight for her hand. Oh and, by the way, both Glory and Blade are human with no powers while they are on Olympus. Let the fun begin! This all happens a few days before their wedding is supposed to occur! I sighed and shed a tear at the end but, my 2 favorite characters finally have their happy ending!!!!!

Ok ending to a great series.
I love the Real Vampires series, and this is the last book in that series, so buying it was a no-brainer. However, that said, there is a lot of repetition in this book regarding Glory wanting Jerry. As in, over and over and over... It got old after a while with all the schemes to keep them apart and I just wanted them to get married already. That said, it was still enjoyable to read, as are all of Gerry Bartlett's books. I would have liked maybe more closure and more storylines involving some of the ancillary characters we'd grown to love, though.

Glory's story
Great addition to this series. I always look forward to a new book in this series, and this one did not disappoint. Interesting "background" on Glory's family. It was a little intense for a while, but resolved nicely. Funny thing, but as I was reading it, I was missing some of the characters in the previous books, and then they showed up towards the end. All in all, an enjoyable read.

Yeah and Boo-hoo!
Excellent and a page turner. But, as much as I enjoyed Glory and Jeremy's happily ever after, I'm mourning the end of this series! Hopefully, Ms. Bartlett will put out some short stories to keep us from total withdrawal! It would be wonderful to check in on Rafe and Lacy, Ray, Miguel, Damien and company! And of course on Glory and Jeremy!
