Zergut Ajvar, Hot, 19 Ounce

This stuff is great! I've been putting it on as many things as possible - toast, eggs, pasta, hot dogs you name it. The somewhat delicate flavor (aided by simple ingredients that does NOT include vinegar!), combined with some mild heat (sorry, there is no planet where this could be considered 'hot') make this an excellent companion to almost anything. It says to use it up in 3 days after opening, which is pretty short, but mine still was good after 10 days. The Mild Ajvar is also excellent and still has a tiny noticeable amount of heat, so you can't go wrong with either.

Taste amazing and glad I tried it and will continue to purchase. Honestly my favorite way to eat this product was simply on buttered bread. Couple issues were that it was not spicy whatsoever and mine spoiled way too soon we'll before the expiration date but it was still worth it.

The ajvar is totally worth it, some of the best out there. But the seller needs to do a far better job packaging the item. Both jars arrived with broken seals, leaking, and one has mold.

If you have never tried ajvar, you must! What a delicious vegetable treat, and spicy too. I usually grow ajvarsky peppers and make it myself at home, but this year could not find any of those seeds, so I was without. Ordered this to satisfy my cravings and was not disappointed. This stuff is top notch and a perfect example of authentic ajvar, albeit mass produced. I would buy it again for sure. Sent some to my kids and they loved it.

The taste is great but if you have an ethnic food store near you .You can get it at a much better price

Yummy yummy - this spread is very versatile and I use it for veggie wraps or sandwiches. I have also served it as a dip for grilled meet such as chicken or pork skewers.I took one star since it was not spicy at all and I’m used to Ajvar with a little kick.

I discovered this yumminess in a jar about 15 years ago. I use it to give a punch for hummus, salads, fish & chicken. I’m happy Amazon has it because it is not readily available in the stores.

Love this stuff! Only place I found it online during the pandemic. A little pricey online. However, you gotta have what you gotta have.
