EZ Botanicals a Division of DBDPet;s Live Premium Montenegro Clown (Armadiliidium Klugi) Isopods (10ct) - Fancy Clean Up Crew for Your Terrarium or Vivarium

The isopods themselves seem cute but the pattern is very hard to see. However the way the package was done, there was a large flap cut in the plastic lid and then basically partially taped with packing tape to allow some oxygen. This did not work well as dirt got into the tape And listened it and 4 out of 10 isopods were able to get out of the flap but then died stuck to the tape. Would not purchase again due to The price for what turned out to be 6 very adolescent isopods alive and this poor packaging of living animals. I mean is it really that hard to just have holes in the top with a sealant around the edge as every other company does?

Wanted to try some fancier isopods and can usually trust amazon to make it happen- I was very pleased that EZ Botanicals sent them over in nice packaging and well protected. The temperature outside was as low as 35 degrees F and they still survived sitting in the mailbox. I adore them. They are slow growing so it will be a few months before they start a new colony. Pleased with this purchase, the packaging container, and personal attention to detail that came with this product. Seems like they know their isopod stuff!

Unfortunately I wasn’t there when they arrived and had someone unpack and look after them for a week. They arrived early and healthy with the exact number of isopods I ordered. When I got back I found 4 dead, pretty sure they just weren’t cared for properly while I was gone. Overall very happy with my purchase just a shame I wasn’t here for their arrival.

The isopods meet my expectations, they were packaged well and seemed healthy. For the time being I will be raising them in a separate container so that I can observe them and pale sure they will breed before they are put in a vivarium.
