This stuff is NASTY-tasting and will deter you from biting. The biggest problem is that it migrates to food and such pretty easily if you eat with your fingers. Here's how I solved that 90% of the time.Don't coat the nail! Just apply one thin strip following the tip of the nail, but keep it about 1/16" from the edges. That way...you save a lot of money because you're using less and it will not transfer as easily to your food since it doesn't go to the edges of the nail. But it will definitely catch you if you try and nibble your nails.

I've been using this product for about a year. It definitely works, the taste is so terrible. Before you apply, make sure you consider what you're eating next, if you're having finger foods, consider applying afterwards, because for the first day the taste manages to transfer to anything and everything. There are a few other drawbacks: The polish itself will peel off under hot water, but no worries because the taste remains for at least another day. They also say you can put it over nail polish and it's just a clear coat, but I've found that it discolors the nail polish after just a few hours.

Peels very quickly, within 24 hours. Gloves recommend when cooking or baking or feeding a little one. But does break the habit of biting nails (along with stress relief tactics) very awful taste.

I have very mixed emotions about this. It's great and it's awful... If someone wants to stop biting the nails, this will definitely do the job. Once applied, you would not even think about getting your fingers even close to your mouth. Unfortunately, the taste will transfer to anything you touch and even if you remove the nail polish it will stay on your fingernails for a very long time. One time using it was enough. It tastes disgusting, but the worst was the feeling of it even after the nail polish was removed. Just touch something by accident and the taste will come back and back again. It did the trick, though... After a lifetime of trying different things. Then I switched to just the nail strengthening polish from the same brand, and finally I have beautiful, strong nails.
