Stereophonics: Decade In The Sun - Best Of [DVD]

Not only do you get all 25 videos the band has produced (far more than the standard greatest hits cd with its 20 tracks) but you also get introductions and behind-the-scenes segments on the videos.Then as a bonus there's another 12 or so various recordings of other songs... one or two are from poor video tape sources but that's not the DVD's fault - just the source of the master tape at the time.The quality of the main 25 videos is excellent however and essential viewing to any Stereophonics fan.As a DVD it's also easy to navigate - you're not forced to watch the documentaries or long animated menus when all you want to do is find one song/video. You can see them listed in chronological order, top 20, or optionally with the docs.Ignore the negative reviews... they're people commenting on amazon - not this DVD (eg. wrong region shipped, or I wanted a CD and bought a DVD accidentally). One of the main reasons I wrote this review is to comment on how good this DVD is compared to what the score seemed to suggest.

Bought as believed I was sort of a casual fan of the Stereophonics - but hadn't appreciated quite how samey their output can be; and that the not-so-good-ones need (by me) fast-forwarding... Now, MANICS Singles DVD consistently good :-)

Just as good as I expected it to be, Very happy with this product, Taken a bit longer than expected to arrive but worth the wait.
