Enjoyable! Reads like a documentary.
Meticulously researched and lots of interesting tangential tidbits throughout. This book reads like a documentary- not so much concerned about drama as it is with accuracy and context. Most interesting is how this story reads like one of many current murder stories- only the true story and legal defense and maneuvers were novel in the early nineteen hundreds when this case played out. The tangential ties of the main characters to Rudy Valentino and former President Wilson are interesting and well-presented. And as I have family members who have passed down some bits and pieces of this story about my great uncle Jack and his untimely demise- I appreciate all of the work that went into putting this together. Great read!
