Goldtone M Bass Microbass Fretless Short-Scaled Acoustic Electric Bass w/Gig Ba

I own this instrument and it is a wonderful instrument. READ THE MANUAL before you start playing. There are some precautions you need to take when tuning with the latex strings. The instrument has a very unique sound, similar to a stand-up bass.Mine sits and I don't play it, just because I have too many instruments and this is not an everyday, every song type of instrument. It is great if you plan to play it. I would say its a niche instrument.The build and quality is exceptional. The case is the best soft case I have ever seen for a guitar.

This instrument is very interesting - fun to play, and sounds nice. Tuning is a bit touchy because the strings don't slide through the nut very well - I always kindof tune, lift up the string, tune, lift of the string, etc. Mine came with one of the fret lines actually coming out of the groove - just glued it back in but seemed sketchy in terms of quality. I was hoping it would be a little louder for acoustic use, but definitely needs amplification unless you're just practicing alone.

Great little bass! Easy to play. The sound is awesome! Love it being fretless for smooth slides. Easy to carry to smaller venues, verses the bigger bass and amp. Back up to my Kala U-Bass. Goldtone makes great instruments. I have an Orange Blossom Special Banjo, Dulciborn Dulcimer too! The customer service a is excellent.
