The media could not be loaded.  Here's the thing: I've never been good at doing my hair because caring for it is a journey-- you need to know the products that your hair works with, and for me it was so hard that I gave up a long time ago. I just ended up settling for my go-to hairstyles like a geled-up ponytail or a bun.I discovered SKALA through a Latina influencer whose hair was simply gorgeous and her curls astoundingly refined. She used Skala products and that's when I started looking for the product. The only downside for me was not knowing spanish, so I scoured the internet to get a decent translation for the product usage.I found another site selling the same Skala product and it claimed that the 2-in-1 cam be used as a leave-in conditioner, so that's precisely how I used it for the only my two times I've used it so far.My hair came out SO wonderfully the first time and I thought maybe it was somehow a fluke. So exactly three days after trying it, I washed my hair again with my usual shampoo and conditioner, towel-dried it, then combed through it before I applied Skala starting at the end and crunched it up to my scalp for about 5-7 minutes straight.And bam. The pictures I posted were from this morning when I woke up (you can probably tell from my eyes). My hair is not perfect but she looks very refined on her own! My hair has body now and doesn't look flat. Mind you, this is exactly how it came out the first time when I thought it was a fluke.Unlike Garnier Fructís leave-in conditioners I've tried, Skala doesn't have a slippery texture like after my hair has dried; the only time it was slippery was when I applied it onto my wet hair. This is important to me because during the summer when my back sweats from hot weather, my leave in conditioner would coat my back.Skala feels water-based and comes off easily when washed off. Did I mention it smells beautifully tropical???And for $12?!Don't sleep on this brand.If you've never found a hair product that works with your waves, your curls, this really could be it. I can tell that my search for holy grail hair products has come to an end.
