I didn't like anything about it, it is not a good signal device, guess that's why it is so reasonable.

Ok! Since setting up a tripod satellite unit in my travel trailer was a first time experience, I thought I needed this unit to locate a satellite to connect to my Directv DVR unit. The unit worked OK. However, you don't need this unit simply because you can use a free iPhone app called Satellite Finder. I also used the 'Satellite Setup' feature provided by Directv you can watch on your TV screen. Once you locate the satellite to use for your area, also provided by Directv, you then use the iPhone app to line the dish to the satellite you need to use. Then you use the Directv satellite setup feature to fine-tune the dish to get the strongest single from your exact location. The satellite setup feature provides signal strength in numbers and in beeping tones you can hear from outside by simply turning up the volume on your TV inside your RV.

It's not easy for use it

I am aware that this is identical to others for sale under various other names and, allot of them have terrible reviews. I had tried for around a week everyday, a few times a day to get a satellite signal. Any satellite signal. And could not find a single one. I was seriously thinking my brand new lnb must be junk. The day I got this, I got a satellite.This is very easy to use. All I do is use the dial on the side. You don’t need to worry about anything else. You can literally use this thing at night in the dark without look at any of your ticks on your dish. “I’ve done it several times.” Anyways, using just the side dial, turn it up until you are are at 50 percent signal. Turn your dish in the direction of the satellite you are going for. When your meter goes up to 100, stop. Turn it back down to 50 percent.Slightly tap the dish to jar it a bit further. If your signal goes up, continue that direction slowly. But, when it gets to 100 always turn it back down to around 50 or 30 this gives you a base line. If your signal drops further down, you are going the wrong direction. Once you get your direction set, do your other adjustments.It’s a game of cat and mouse that gets so much easier once you understand how to use it.I have had two times where I had the dial turned all the way down and the meter was at 100 percent and blaring. At this point, just unscrew your receiver side and screw it back into your meter. Essentially resetting the meter. Other than that, awesome tool. “This is coming from a complete novice” when it comes to FTA I’m just learning. So, this was my first time. I fully recommend you get one of these even if you have one of those expensive meters that show your channels on screen. Another thing that helped me allot is iphone apps like sat finder. Being able to see the satellite in the sky gives you a good reference to height and, position of a close area you want to be. The meter can help you dial the rest in pretty quickly. Another word of advice is use the palm of your hand to hit “tap hard enough to jar” the lnb feed horn arm. It helps to get it spot on. If you are going too far over doing that, another thing I like to do is grab the side of the dish reflector “the side you want to slightly move towards” and then tap the feed horn arm with your other hand. It helps to move it in very Tiny increments this way. “I did all this from the top of the ladder” my dish is on a roof edge. “Which isn’t recommended as it’s unsafe to adjust a dish while on a ladder.

BSが映らなくなってアンテナを買い替えてみても映らないのでこちらも購入してみましたが、原因が別にあって。こちらを購入しなかったらいつまでも映らなかったでしょうね。原因を取り除いたら一瞬でBSが映るようになりました。

日本語の取扱説明書が無いので、大変調整に苦労しました。一応何とか使用出来たので星３つとしました。日本語の取説があれば星5個まで行けたでしょう。

強度計として％表示ではなくレベルで表示しもらいたい。どれ程の強度かがわかりにくい。

ユーチューブを見て購入したが、液晶画面は点くものの指示値はゼロ。全く動作しなかった。衛星アンテナは、苦労したがメーター無しでセットした。完全な空振りであった。

最初に衛星の方角（AZ）を取るには見事。但しCS,BSが同方向にあるので、最後はテレビ受信レベルを確認しながら調整の必要がある.アマチュアが作業するときは使用できるがプロなら必要がない。
